It was a pretty nice fim but had alot of bad content... The story was just about okay, alot of parts were very funny, overall nice comedy.

Detractors will focus on the fact that this film wasn't chock-full of dumb comedy, but I like my movies to avoid talking down to me. A charming film about a couple in love. They act like they're in love, and the beats they hit are just perfect. It's quirky, funny at times, smart, and pretty. If you like good movies, then there's no reason not to see it.

This was a truly beautiful, poignant movie, and I certainly wasn't expecting that from this director (who did the atrocious, overwrought Revolutionary Road) I was expecting something mediocre, subpar, or overly cliched/contrived with an indie-hipster vibe (yes, I've been sore and wary ever since I was disillusioned by 500 Days of Summer, which is all of those things) Wrong, wrong, wrong. Maya Rudolph was a true standout, and the way her storyline was handled was what really made this film work magic (maybe I'm more affected by it because I recently lost a parent myself) The way the movie comes full-circle at the end is marvelous and incredibly touching, yet hopeful that this sincere and loving couple will make it after all.

I had great expectations going into this movie, based on the very funny trailer, but I found that the movie dragged on and was boring at times. It was not as funny as I had imagined it to be and was tedious at some points. It's an okay movie (pretty forgettable) The best part is the soundtrack by Alexi Murdoch.

I loved this movie, I am pretty young, so there were some elements that I did not understand. But overall the movie was heartwarming. I loved it, definitely see it.

This movie is one of the sweetest most honest films I've ever seen. I'm a straight guy, who went expecting, I dunno, John Krazinski being 'office-y' but I was really moved by it. Its really an amazing study of what makes a home a family and a parent. I highly highly recommend this movie and I'm def. Gonna get it when it comes out.

After hearing about / reading some reviews on this movie, I was discouraged from going to see it. My advice to anybody who thought that they would love this movie but is now hesitant, is to go! Regarding the so-called misuse of music, I really didn't understand this criticism. If you were at all able to relate to the main characters, you would have found that the music did an excellent job at enhancing any feelings you already had- especially if you are already familiar with and fond of Alexi Murdock (all music is done by him) This movie is genuine and heartfelt. It is an extremely well-crafted portrait of two people who share a deep love for each other and are looking to find their place in this world.

Great movie! The writing was tight, original, funny, and true to life, with several standout performances (John Krasinski, Allison Janney, and Maggie Gyllenhaal all at their best) Additionally, it repeatedly refuses indie stereotypes, avoiding any of the annoying hipster cliches that, say, Juno was prone to. Both hilarious and touching, this movie is a must see for anyone whose ideal movie experience is NOT comprised of stiff dialogue and battling robots.

Simple and beautiful. Loved it. If you liked Juno, I think you'll love this.

Really disappointing film. The couple - in their late twenties, are completely clueless about the complexities and subtlties of life, seem to have no friends or profound relationships with anyone, stumbling about from place to place... the only standout performance is from The West Wing's Allison Janney.

I loved this movie from beginning to end! John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph are wonderful in their roles and have great chemistry. The dialogue and directing are great and the movie has an overall warm, feel-good feeling that will make you think of it even after you leave the theatre. A must-see!

Cool theme and actors was almost overrun by unnecessary crass scenes and ugly words.

It has a good friendly feeling. I liked watching the main characters interact. The soundtrack really stands out.

If you are expecting something surprisingly different from this movie then you are likely to be disappointed. Apart from the wonderful soundtrack (without which this movie would be devoid of any emotional persuasion) and a few genuinely funny moments, it is packed with quirky, but ultimately annoying, cliched characters. I'm sure the theme of trying to find a home in an unpredictible world will appeal to man (and it has been done a lot worse in other movies) but you are not missing out on much if you don't get to see this one.

Overated. The only amazing thing about this film is the soundtrack. The film is a "feel good movie for future parents" and is full of cliche, even if it pretends to get away from conventions. The character are empty, failing to deliver the emotion the soundtrack so powerfully conveys.

Fairly enjoyable, but the movie takes a bit of a weird turn half way through, when all comedy ends and it turns very serious. That said, I enjoyed the performances.

Hillarious in parts, always entertaining and the acting is quite good considering I've never heard of the actors. There are some wacky characters in this film. There is also a wonderful soundtrack. I hope they release it on CD/DVD. Go see it and enjoy!

A rare treat of a film. The characters are not spoiled rich kids and the story is delightful.

A wonderful little gem of a film. It's really offbeat and not the usual Hollywood cookie cutter molded films. I enjoyed it and found it very genuine and realistic.

A road trip movie of a different fare. Solid cast and acting throughout with some slowness here and there. A movie with a niche market so not for everyone. It was a nice movie for the afternoon with my wife.

My husband and I checked this one out, and we loved it. Sweet, funny, sad, and memorable. The design was great and the story held our interest throughout. Cute couple, and a poignant tale, what else could you ask for?

Genuine characters and great casting. Laughter and tears, poetry and music in a search for a sense of home. Really enjoyed the simplicity of it.

This romantic comedy uses a road trip to expose the failings of those the protagonists hope to depend on in the upcoming event of their child's birth. Some events border on slapstick while others are almost poetic. Solid performances by the main characters but the vignettes seem more comic strip than poignant. Pleasant enough fare.
