I think this was one of the best animated movies. Even though it was for kids, I believe that most adults enjoyed equally or more.

Superb animated feature. The soundtrack is breath-taking, and the backround hand painted animation is impressive. The voice acting is top notch. Who would doubt the acting ability of the great James Earl Jones? The story is simple but deals with powerful universal themes, and the number of excellent poignant scenes are too high to count. Very memberable movie, a true "withstand the test of time" type of animated film.

'The Lion King' still is, and will always remain my most favourite animated movie of all time! It's a perfect array of colours, enchantment, harmonies and a wash of unforgettable Disney magic that will remain locked in your heart forever. The phenominon begins on the Saringetti Plains in the world of Animal Kingdom, ruled by the wise lion Mufasa. On the peak of Pride Rock, we meet Simba, the heir to the thrown of the Pride Lands. In the loving eyes of Mufasa and his best friend Nala, Simba flourishes and dreams of his destiny. But Simba's happy world is shattered when his greedy uncle Scar, takes the thrown into his own hands, and Simba must learn a whole new route to becoming king, and relise the true values of love, life and above all, believing in your innerself! From its mystical opening to its electrifying finale, 'The Lion King' is the perfect escape to discovering what your heart can REALLY accomplish!

I've never been a big Disney fan, though I can now appreciate movies such as the Jungle Book and some of the older classics. But I have never been able to sit through all of the Lion King. The songs in this movie make you want to laugh and cringe at the same time. This movie will most likely serve its purpose pacifying the kids babysitters and parents are too tired to handle.

The lion king is a truly beautiful movie- covering all ascpects of genre. At some times you'll be laughing your heads off at the antics of the lovable timon and pumba, or the ditzy hyenas, and at the same time you will be crying with sorrow for these expressionistic animals' problems. I've loved this movie since I was five and it's the only movie that ever makes me cry. A cinematic masterpiece.

I think this was the last great film in the second golden age of Disney. This plot was great. A lot of tension, with noble characters, a wonderfully evil villain, and a hero full of self doubt. The film also had a fantastic soundtrack. A simply great movie.

The Lion King was the most awesome movie I've seen along with Lady and the Tramp 1 and 2. I really have a thing for Lions and Wolves and Dogs, there my favorite animals. I've even tryed to draw the charecters from the Disney movies. Although I kept messing up on them, I still loved them. Even if you don't like animals, it's still a good movie to watch because it teaches you about friendship and love. Well that's all I have to say except go and see that movie.
