I thought that Girl Interrupted was an awesome show. It was definitely worth its Acadamy Award. The actors did great jobs with they're roles, and the plot was very catchy. See it!

What movie isn't good that Angelina Jolie stars in? (oops, I take that back, what is that movie called starring Antonio Banderas?) She is a true gifted actress who conforms to any role presented to her. To my surprise, Winona Ryder gave the role her all and made the film quite enjoyable. I definitely recommend this film and whould even encourage adding it to your personal collection of DVD (videos.) A Masterpiece, vey intelligent.

Not a bad movie but an awful lot of dry spots. I also found that the movie didn't always flow smoothly.

This movie was a compassionate but all to real portrait of a girl getting lost in the space between youth and adulthood. The performances by all of the main characters were strong and believable. It took no short-cuts, nor did it sugar-coat the realities of life in an institution, but it never stopped caring about the players within. I found this movie compelling and moving at the same time.

Super bon film! Angelina Jolie mérite vraiment son Oscar! Girl Interrupted est un film que j'ai bien aimé et que je vous conseille même s'il est un peu long par moments.

Hi! I thought this movie was too long and didn't really get me caught up with the whole story. It doesn't take long to get the main idea's of the movie which, contrary to other opinions, weren't that deep. I would just skip it if I were you.

You just cannot take your eyes off of Angelina Jolie. No matter what movie she is in. Thankfully this movie was watchable. Kind of a movie-of-the-week feel to the whole thing, but hey, Angelina Jolie. The peripheral characters, especially the burnt girl and the girl who kept the chicken carcasses under her bed came across as one-dimensional, probably not enough space in the film with the two leads to develop them. Small criticism, but it helps me to feel superior.

I saw Girl interrupted and I thought it was wonderful! Although I am no longer a teenager, I appreciated a movie made about young women who experience more anxiety than just those associated with boys and make-up. I thought the acting was supurb. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen.

Good movie, but I don't think everyone would like. It's a deep and serious movie. Need to have high IQ in order to understand the whole movie.

The movie was well-acted and interesting, but I did not appreciate how the voice-over narration TOLD the viewers what the message was, and what we were supposed to take away from the theatre with us. It was condescending.

It was great when Winona's character states that there is a vast difference in the definition of "promiscuous" for women and men. Also had you thinking about how tough life is for the middle class versus the blacks. Hmmm. Great acting from all the gals. Good though provoking movie, but rather unsettling.

This film was very good. But It's a kind of film that not everybody likes. Some scenes was too long for nothing but beside that it was good. Very good performance by Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie. This film made me thought a great deal about how life is important even if it's hard sometimes.

An excellent film, with wonderful contrasting performances by Jolie and Ryder. Both well cast for their roles, Jolie steals almost every scene she's in; but in the end, Ryder's portrayal of inner turmoil stay with you long after the film is over. Subtext on psychiatry and its practitioners is balanced and enlightening. Heavy subject matter well presented; but where was the male audience?? I was one of maybe 5 guys in a theater audience of 200!!

Excellent. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry. Was totally taken in by most of the characters. Probably my favorite of the year.

My wife mentioned she wanted to see this movie after seeing a preview. We usually don't go to see 'chick flicks', together and I save them for her female friends. But this time I decided to go and was happily suprised as the movie started out with an interesting twist. I was enjoying the movie entirely until predictability began rearing its ugly head. Maybe it was the length or long drawn out anticlimax but soon I was asleep. Nodding in and out of consciousness. Snoring occasionally. Overall, very entertaining and excellent for all moviegoers, especially tired husbands or boyfriends who want to have some Q-time with their better halves or a great power nap.

Great movie! Don't understand why some people didn't like it. May be more interesting to women than men.

I'm sorry but this movie was garbage. Boring plot, transparent acting by most of the cast and I fell asleep more than once. I got in for free and I still feel like I was cheated. SF

Good movie. You don't feel it passing. Although it's over 2 hours long. Not a chick flick so see it if your girlfriend wants you to go with her.
