When I saw it made no sense, honestly a bad movie.

It's a Bruce Campbel movie. Meaning that it's fun, enterning, and original. If you like Xena then you'll like this, but it is no great movie by far.

WOW!! A must see for any true Bruce fan. As if the plot isn't funny enough. Throw in BC as an aged Elvis and you have one of the funniest flicks I've seen in awhile. This movie is strange, though. It's not for everyone. It leaves you guessing as to it's specific genre, but that doesn't take away from it at all. Bruce deserves an award for his performance. The soundtrack and screenplay were flawless. If you aren't a surface dweller, and if you have a good sense of humour, this is the movie for you.

A very orginal film, funny and sad all at once. A weird mix of introspection of old age, goofy B-movie horror, and great acting. I love Bruce Campbell in this role, he made a great aging Elvis. The odd egyptian hyroglyphs coming out of the mummy at the end was a little too much embellishment that the film didn't need but other than that -- what a film! And watch to the end of the credits, there's a funny little add on.

Elvis, as played by Bruce Campbell, is by far the best portrayal I've ever seen, although I can't recall going out of my way to look... Funny and poignant, all in a B movie, it's great, go see it.

After reading all the positive reviews about this film, I went in with high expectations. The 1st thing that turned me off was how bad the make-up on Campbell was. I don't mean to be picky but hell, even a elderly cross eyed, near sighted person without their prescription eyewear could see those prosthetic edges. I just couldn't get past it. My guess is that they originally aimed at the straight to video market and that the small screen would be gentle on the make-up. There were a few laughs throughout but overall I felt that the director tried too hard to make poignant drama out of too little substance. Campbell held his own as usual. He's probably the only thing that kept me from dozing off. Conclusion: If you really want to see this flick, catch a matinee on cheap Thuesdays..

This is the best movie that Elvis never made. A lot of fun. It really doesn't have any point, but well worth seeing.

Absoulutly Fabulous movie!!! I was blown away by the sincerity and love that the creator, director, actors, and crew had done. A true original movie concept. Too many movies out there are laden with specical effects instead of the effect of the movie. The movie was touching and sensitive. It has brought to attention the sad realities some people go through in nursing homes, some are forgotten by family members. Although the mummy in this film was a important part, the interaction bettween JFK and Elvis were by far the best part. They both shown a love and trust and respect for their friendship. Kimosabe in the movie although was a small role was also particularly touching and I could not help but feel sorry for his character. GO SEE THIS MOVIE. When you do Tell everyone about this movie and let them share in the expirience.

I was completely blown away by the comedic genius of its understated elegance and sincerity. It's not a film for everyone -- only those sensitive, intelligent and loving of humanity will really get it. It is one of the most perfect scripts I have ever heard. I truly hope there is a sequel. Best film I've seen in a long time.

Words cannot describe how much I love this film-I was incredibly surprised when I saw it at Fantasia, expecting nothing. Quite honestly the best film of 2003 as far as I'm concerned. A meditation on growing old and regret, it's unbelievably moving while being funnier than anything out there and, yes, it's undoubtedly Bruce's best performance. It's also director Don Coscarelli's best film. It features an outstanding soundtrack that really adds to the tone of the film, something not enough people mention. Don't get me wrong, it's light entertainment, but that's probably what makes it even more effective. If you miss it during its brief run in theatres, the DVD will be available in May. I can't wait. And the soundtrack is available on the official website.

With all the big names in Hollywood cashing in on the superhero craze, we've been seeing a lot of these types of movies. Let's be honest, none of them were all as good as we thought they were at the time. Bubba Ho-Tep is different. Finally, a superhero movie I could imagine myself watching in the future and actually enjoying.

Bubba Ho-Tep was a great film. Bruce Campbell is barely recognizable as Elvis, but there's enough "Bruce" in his performance to satisfy the fans of his previous work. Who's to say a "B" movie can't be a great movie?

This is truly a masterpiece, its funny, its bizarre and its catchy. You also have some suspense. It's a one-liner marathon worthy of two male actors: James t. Kirk and Ash. (they should do a movie with these two guys together:D) This movie had an ovation at fantasia, thats just how good it was. Hail to the king baby!

This is not an action packed movie with explosions and car chases. It can seem a bit slow sometimes. But given that it takes place in a old folks home starring Elvis in a walker and JFK in a wheel chair, it would be wrong for the pace to be any different. The wit however approaches wisdom and the context is pure comedy. Honestly, this is a great movie and well worth the viewing for anyone who loves film.
