Funny? You must be kidding. Thirty minutes in and not so much as a tickle. I regard myself as having a great sense of humour and have on many, many occasions busted a gut on questionably inappropriate material. Everything in this film sucked. One poorly delivered joke after another. Just bad. Pure bad. I could have had more fun watching paint dry. Hadn't realized how many washed up and desperately unfunny comedians are out there.

Just thought I'd add my two cents to bring down the overall rating of this one a little more. What a bore. Washed up not-funny-in-the-first-place actors short on work (we now understand why) stuck in a pre-pubescent stage where funny is saying a lot of words you wouldn't feel comfortable saying in front of your mother. I didn't walk out of this film because it was vulgar or disgusting (though it was) but because it was repetitive, unoriginal, and well, boring. And there seemed to be some sort of competition between those people in the audience out to prove how uninhibited and cool they were to see who could laugh the loudest, but you guys can't act either. It just didn't sound sincere, on or off screen.

This movie wasn't funny, because it went beyond being funny and went to the extent of being utterly vulgar and offensive. Some audiences may like it, many may feel it's offensive and very distasteful. Overall, I would not recommend it.

If you find the movie offensive then you are too close to it. You have to have an imagination to enjoy it. It is meant to be a fantasy not a reality show. I haven't laughed like that in years.

If you are sqeamish, not interested in the behind-the-scenes world of comedians, not into dark violent disgusting purile imagery, not into documentaries, just say so. None of that will make it a bad movie. I remember all the same complaints being made about 'Delerious'. Clearly madness and genius are neighbours and within this art form, there's no better way to explore both than presenting the storied, varied and boundless delivery of this 'joke'. The Walken impression alone makes it worth the price of admission.

Vulgar: yes, funny: yes, but in the end: repetitive and somewhat boring.

Some of the funniest stuff that I've seen in a long time. How can you go wrong with George Carlin, Robin Williams, Drew Carey, Sarah Silverman... the list goes on. The tight-asses who walked out, should find themselves a Red State in the US, and park their trailers there. Is this film rude? Yes. Is the humour designed to brutalize your limits? Yes. Is the overall experience worthwhile? Hell yeah!

Funniest... movie... in a damn long time. Laughed my ass off. If you're uptight and easily offended, don't go see the movie. If you have a twisted sense of humour, you'll love this. Bob Saget should never be allowed near children.

Bad taste... does not even begin to descibe this piece of trash. That's what this is and that's were it should stay. I walked out (along with several others) within the first half hour. The only reason I sat that long was to give it a fair shake. I regret that I spent the money on this in the first place, much more that I even sat more than 5 mins! Guess I am not one of the "cultural elite". Being a meat and potatoes person, I just do not find beastiality, child abuse and incest (amongst the other crap spouted in this "movie") humorous. If this "movie" is can only be appreciated by the "educated upper crust of society", it sure goes a long way to explaining why the World is in the state it is. I'll stay put, right where I am. Thank you very much. Do not rent this, do not buy this, just find as many copies as you can and burn them!

Disgusting! Putrid! Undeniably funny! Anyone who has a sense of humour must see this! [...] If you can take the raunchiness at its worst (or its finest, depending) see it - it's worth the money.

I walked out. However, here is why I did laugh, and you might too: do you believe in incest? ; child abuse? ; violence against women? ; and general cruelty to persons in any all ways to do with sex or bodily elimination? Of course you don't. What is funny about this movie is that it was made in the first place, and in the second place, that spoken word can be demonstrated to be even more offensive than visual imagery. Hey, that's ok. There are no visuals, and it was ultra low budget. Let's call it a documentary. Some people loved it. Do you ever wonder about people who find car accidents interesting to stare at?

I used to think that I'd pretty much seen or heard it all - this waste of film just goes to disprove that one. What a TOTAL waste of time and money. I can not believe that the movie industry is that short on ideas that it has come to this - a movie that is essentially based on the explanation of a truly pathetic piece of supposed humor (if you want to call it that) Nothing more than a vulgar and distastful piece of trash. Nothing "funny" here folks..

If you're not offended by crude humor, you will LOVE this documentary, it's awesome! Just make sure you go see it with a large audience though... I went to see it during the day, and with only 5 people in the audience it's just not the same...

This movie thought me a lot about taste and humor. I realized also a couple of weeks before I saw the movie that Bob Saget was a King and this movie was further proof that he was. Him alone was worth the 11 bucks.

It's not a bad movie.. well not as bad as others have written. It is a nice little documentary, almost amateurish by moment. It let's you see many comics in a ways that we are not use to see them usually. It goes as far as making feel close to that "closed" secret brotherhood of comics. The Aristocrats will not be nominated for an Oscar but if you really like comics and want to be on the joke have a look at the Aristocrats... :) The only thing I could say bad about it is that it's a bit too short... maybe censors had something to do with that...

I laughed so hard I was in tears and almost choked to death on my own saliva. Highly recommended for people with a real sense of humor.

A Funny movie. I didn't give it a 9 or 10 because it's not genius funny, just very funny. If you're [...] with no sense of humor, don't even attempt watching something like this. Otherwise, enjoy.

My wife and I saw this with a buddy of mine. I offer a warning. If you are at all sensitive about a little incest or a great deal of ultra-violence, you are best to skip this flick. Having said that, we three laughed our asses off. I never thought I would say it, but: bob Saget rules.

How can a full-length movie about a joke that isn't funny keep me laughing so consistently? The joke is in the telling. This point is the message I got. I also got a look beneath the surface of a great many comedians. This is a movie that will make you laugh, make you think and give comedy fans some real insight into favourite and unknown talent. A very unique movie with good pacing, my only complaint about this movie is that the camera-work is awful.

** WARNING ** Don't lose 90 minutes of your life that you will never ever get back!! You can't make a comedy out of sloppy shaky camerawork, bad audio and bad editing of dozens of actors that you haven't seen act in the last 10 years. This documentary (and its called this because it cost no money to make, and it's not even close to documentary standards) is soo boring wait for dvd, then don't rent it, let a friend rent it and tell you how boring it is. It's a bunch of washed up actors/comedians saying the same thing for 90 minutes, it's suppposed to be raunchy in nature but it's NOT!! The joke is on all [...] who will waste their time and money on this movie and pray and hope it will be funny, If you must go to see this MOVIE, don't hesitate to walk out in 20 minutes and get all your money back!! You can get the idea in about that time,[...]

The joke of "The Aristocrats" is that it isn't funny. It's a game to see if moviegoers perceive that the real joke is on them! Very very sick film.

WOW, I am kinda glad I read the reviews before I went to see this MOVIE, although I didn't really depend on the reviews I DID WALK OUT. Don't support this kind of movie making, it's a rip off!! The nasty humor is not even shocking to today's standards, old people might like this film though. Movie's like this should not be made.

Interesting as a documentary. Not especially funny, although I did laugh a few times. Ultimately too repetitive. Not such a bad thing to see if you are bored and want to catch a cheap matinee. Would be better as a half hour show.

Rarely have I been to a film where I laughed so hard and so much. The rest of the audience was laughing hard too. The old jokes are still the best. Political correctness be damned.
