The story was nice but once again Salman Khan wasn't convincing. Too much tears and drama about a widow getting married again. Thank God I didn't watch it in theathers I borrowed it from my friend. Too long and painful. Time pass...

Baabul is a pretty good movie... Just like Baghban... Good for families to watch... You can go watch it in the theatres if you really want but I'd rather watch it on DVD.

With big names like Amitabh, Salman, Rani and Hema, I expected a lot more from this movie. I should have waited for the DVD. Stupid me, huh! Well, what else can I say other than that it was very slow paced and the little boy was adorable. Oh yes... one other thing I actually LIKED about the movie was the moral of the movie, the message even if it took 3 hours to get to it.

The movie was the same old, one girl likes the other guy and there is drama going on everywhere, the father doesnt like the fiancee, the father is having an affair with his kids fiancee's sister and they have illegitimate kids running around in the streets that they wont take responsibility for and the whole movie is a gong show, they try to speak english and be not indian when they are they the typical bollywood copy story movie is a copy of another hollywood movier. Salman Khan is on roids again and cant act like the usual and is trying to be Tom Cruise.

The acting of Rani Mukherjee and Amitabh Bachan was great as always. Very interesting storyline. Only problem I could find was how long it took to get to the climax.

There is nothing new 'old wine in a new bottle', , predictable storyline Amitabh playing same role he played in (VIRUDH) Amitabh and John Abraham starer... poor dialogue dilvery.. well on the whole a poor show with nothing new to offer. And these chopra's and yash raj's and all these big producer's know one thing nowadays story dont matters what matter is cast... so they cast some big stars rejoin those who coupled last in 80's or 70's and market them well so they get good return... I m thankfull to my self that I saw this floop on dvd so I can forward it and see the climax which I already known when I saw the first 15 to 20 mins of movie... big ZER000000 plz website for these kind of movies start a zero figure also.. Thanks.

In one word, Amazing!! Very nice movie, after vivah, I can again go with my family to theatre... Movie starts well and song/dance sequence is very nice... Amitabh and Hema are best... Salman is fun and Rani looks nice... second half mostly is for Amitabh and Rani and both act very nice... John is okay.. I am sure all will love this movie... it has very modern looking touch like baghban... movie will do great!!!

The movie is great! Who cares if the movie has an old story or not, but the film works because of its message, emotional content and performance! People are saying Baabul is old-fashioned, they need to realize how STUPID Dhoom 2 is, and a film like Dhoom 2 is going to beat Lage Raho Munnabhai? How more stupid can you get from people! Big B and SAlman ROCK in this film! Hopefully, the film picks up and does well at the BO!

BAABUL- Very simple movie with loads of emotions and fantastic performances by ALL the great actors. Salman is looking AWESOME... and Amitabh... hes always the best. BAAWRI PIYA... beautiful song by SONU...

Another subtle performance by Mr. Bachchan. Ms. Mukherjee delivers with style and grace. John Abraham's unshaven look is getting tired. Salman Khan needs to find a role where he doesn't exit so early.

Salman is not very convincing in his role, and the music is not that great... The second part of the movie is more interesting and emotional, but by then u are already tired with the movie... coz the first part is sooo painfully slow that u dont even want to sit n watch the rest... Overall, not worth watching in the theatres... wait for the DVD!!

Quite good. Not as enjoyable as Baghban, cause it took too long getting to the crux of the story, but quite entertaining through out. Watch it for Bachchan Sr and Rani, who are outstanding as always.
