Breakthrough performance thanks to Hoffman. I watched it more than 10 times; it's one of my best movies of all time!

HI THERE! I thing that this movies hide the romantism and the sensitivity that missing sometimes from our life. I would say that without this lirism of music the movie would loose something of it! Please could you tell me the name of this wonderful tango? Thanks indeed Panos.

I usually only critique movies I give "10's" to, but I will make an exception for this film. I read some of the other reviews of this movie here and can't help but think that this nintendo generation of movie goers can't go to a movie that has a point. This small movie is a wonderful story of two opposites who through lifes twists and turns become friends. It hopefully lifts the vales of ignorance off the viewer and sheds a little light of "the other side". DeNiro is excellent as usuall but Hoffman steals this one as the Drags Queen's Drag Queen. Don't go to it expecting excitement. It's a character study for both the players and the viewers. Not a comedy by the way (although there are moments of levity)

I thought the movie would be better given the addition of Deniro. Well I had to shut it off after 1 hour because it was too boring to continue with. I figured if it didn't have any appeal after and hour... Another 60 mins wasn't going to be any better.

A weird movie from a Batman director (I guess he wanted to prove he could direct a drama). Well this movie is a drama/comedy. Performances are basically the basis for seeing this movie. The story is not that great, but Hoffman - WOW!! - excellent performance. What a convincing as well as entertaining impersonation of drag queens. De Niro is always good, giving us one of his awakenings performances. This film does embody many good scenes between the two actors, but the other scenes were unnecessary. It is a small movie, a quiet one. If u want something funny, cool and a bit dramatic watch it, its cute. Hoffman is hilarious. I was actually convinced that this is a woman.

This is one of the worse movies I've seen in a long time. Deniro is great, but the movie has no plot. It just keeps dragging on and it's not even funny. Unless you have some time and money to waste, don't go and see this movie.

Very funny movie, with oscar worthy performances from Robert DeNiro and Philip Seymour. Great movie to sit and laugh at with (more than likely) not too many people in the theatre.
