A great movie for a mood lifter and to have a relaxing evening with. I went right out and bought the soundtrack and can't wait for the video. You honestly felt like the actors brought you into the fun of making the movie, really wish I'd been there during the dance scenes on the docks.

I liked the show but I think I heard too much hype that it was a bit of a let down. I LOVED Meryl Streep's friends. They were absolutely fabulous and so funny!

Terrific movie, with great cast! Would have never liked ABBA before this movie and although the actors are definitely not singers... they are very well cast in their parts and it is enjoyable from beginning through to the end credits! Be sure to watch those!! I've seen it twice!

I loved this movie and have seen it a couple of times with my daughter. I especially love the cast, I am a big fan of Julie Walters. Very funny in parts, poignant in others a great feelgood movie, if you get a chance to go to a sing-a-long, do so, as it adds to the fun.

A must watch for those who were brought up in the Abba period. It was a fun movie bring back much nostalgia with the familiar tines. Unfortunately, the singing was a total letdown and the music quality was bad. Could have been a great movie.

I'm a hetero guy, so you can guess I went to see this movie on a date. :) Well, I was pleasantly surprised. There were some Abba songs I didn't know, and some I knew. All fit very well into the story. It almost seems the songs were written for the movie! The voices are the actors' so don't expect too much there, but still, I enjoyed myself.

The only viable complaint that someone could have about this movie is the 'cheesy' factor BUT come on it's a musical! Cheese is expected! It was awesome from the actors, dances and songs! Peirce Brosnan singing who would miss that?

Absolute fun! Unadulterated Silliness. Don't go if you expect realism of truly fabulous singing. Meryl is fantastic. The guys are realistic - in that they are playing older guys who enjoy singing, but aren't music stars. They are reliving their lost youth. A great film for girlfriends!

This is the best movie! Laughter is good medicine and be prepared to laugh and sing throughout the movie. Meryl Streep gave an excellent performance and she sang very well. Amanda Seyfried is a sweatheart. My daughter and I went to see the movie and I've gone 4 more times with different friends.

I am from the ABBA Generation. Listening to the best songs, by this group, in this movie was doubly enjoyable. It is to the credit of the director to have gifted to us such a classy musical comedy. Truly enjoyable and I am going to see it again.

What a fun film. If you like Abba then you will like this film. Expect it to be a spin on the musical but very original compared to other musical films. I could have done without the hollywood hidden agenda at the end though! But very fun and entertaining for Abba fans.

OK so Meryl Streep and Pierce bronsan really can't sing and Meryl Streep is really too old to be doing some of the moves that she pulls in this movie, however if your an ABBA fan this is the movie for you. I'm not so I thought of it a little long and sometimes the singing just never ended when you wanted it to.

Mama Mia was a Fun," sing along" type movie, which brought back alot of memories from my "era". I loved Meryl and her singing talents~ what a surprise! It's great not only for the girls in the family, but the guys will enjoy it, too! I would highly recommend this one for the gorgeous scenery, plot-line, and the terrific actors that joined the cast.

I went to see the movie because I'm an ABBA fan and because the few people I knew that had seen it thought it was great and they would see it again. I found the music & singing was pretty good, but I also found myself kinda bored at times. Really liked the scenery.
