This movie is amazing, best date movie ever. It really makes you think if you decide to take a different road would you be much happier than you are now. This movie helped me to realize that it was ok to let go of my ex and that I could give a chance to the new guy I was seeing. Sweet, Romantic movie.

A good film, not a great film, but a good one. Interesting story line, yet a little hard to imagine, a widow forgiving a man for being partly responsible for the death of her husband. The chances of falling in love with him? I don't think so. This film was definately missing something. Maybe, actual chemistry. There was no indication that Ben Affleck was falling in love with Gwyneth. He just came out and said it. There was obiously an attraction, but was it really love? And Gwyneth was still torn up about her ex-husband. I don't know, what I think of this film. It invokes emotions, yes, I agree, but it is really missing something.

It was a very romantic movie indeed! Despite, there are way too much sex scenes. But, in all, it is a good good movie with good actors and actress. I would recommand this movie to young couples as to older couples.

Really long, tedious and never-ending film! Although Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow were once togheter in real life, the chemistry between the two in this picture is less than zero. They don't shine at all, you don't feel their love in any way, and by the end, you don't really care if they end up togheter and happy because you just want the film to be over. Not even worth renting!!!

What a waste of time. Same old tired formula. Some guy falls for some woman, a dark secret gets revealed and she gets mad and dumps him. But she can't help but love him in the end. Oh good grief, will someone PLEASE get an imagination? I could not develop a liking for any of the characters. The film was tedious and a real chore to watch. My girlfriend liked it because the leading characters fall in love. Oh whoop-dee-doo. They could have constructed a better frame for this so-called romance. How do they do it here? Let me see - Oh I'm sorry, I feel guilty for your husband dying so I'll stalk you and instead of telling you about why I'm really here, I'll just make romance with you and hide my "dark secret". Of course you'll find out that I should have died in that plane crash instead of your husband. But I was going to tell you anyway - honest. It's as sickening as that lunatic who kills kids' pets and then befriends the kids and consoles them because of their loss. How vile. It's not even worth the 99 cent video rack.

An "ok" film - could have been much better. The idea is intriguing, but the characters are not as engaging as they could and need to be. Paltrow is charming, but Affleck doesn't really connect with you, so the film's potential emotional impact is tremendously diluted. Instead of empathizing and being drawn into the movie, we wait uncomfortably for the story to eventually reach its (predictable) climax. A "nice" movie, but it could have been much more.

I wish evil on the female counterpart the conned me into going to see this horrifyingly well financed hollywood piece of trash. Writing was awful, story was predictable, and I do not know why they are calling Affleck and Paltrow actors because for this film they were not acting. (Considering their immenent little fling on the side during the shoot) All this film does is give hollywood another bomb and prove the point further that all Ben Affleck is, is another indie sell-out, and all Gwyneth is, is Gwyneth.

The movie really grabbed your emotions. I cryed like a baby! The idea was a little odd. Falling in love with the wife of the man who died on a plane you were supposed to be on, a man who traded places with you to get home sooner, doesn't happen every day.

Very Bad movie. Me and my girlfriend were so bored after that movie, it's amazing. Nothing special is happening during the movie, it's just very very long. After 60 minutes we wanted to leave, but decided that since we paid 12 buck for the movie, maybe something special was going to happen, but no, nothing... The only good point is at the end, they could have made the movie 10-20 minutes longer, but they didn't. That why they get a 3 and not a 2! They saved us some time. We should have seen the 102 Dalmatians, at least it would have been funny for some times.

It's a nice movie. Not great, not bad. I found the storyline pretty good. Gwenneth Paltrow is excellent but Ben Afleck's acting not so good. He becomes an alcholic without too much prior detail, so when he is released from rehab. You're kind of taken by surprise. Wait for the video, better value for your money.

This semi-dramatic romance was ok but I thought that it wasn't worth watching on the big screen, I could have waited for the video release. The best thing about the movie was at Ben Affleck whose not difficult to look at.

Worth seeing it-- so emotional and good acting. Especially when Ben shows his feeling with tears--guy's tears are pretty touching. I love this dating story although Affleck and Paltrow are more likely two actors than characters.

I wasn't sure what to expect since Gwyneth Paltrow is such a wonderful actress meanwhile Ben what's his name couldn't act if his life depended on it. Gwyneth did a fantastic job as usual, Ben not so much, as usual. OK movie.

Such a touching movie! Gwyneth Paltrow was near excellent, and you could really feel the complicity between her and Ben Affleck. Very predictable movie but it still manages to greatly entertain you. I'll give it a 10 to boost its rate... Go see it!

I was very disappointed with this movie. The directing was stilted and awkward and there were several parts of the story that simply were not believable. There was no continuity to the story so that where it might have been sad, or emotional in any way, it was lost in the dragging plot. If you really have to see Gwyneth or Ben wait for them on video!

'Bounce' was a terribly boring movie. The story didn't sound that bad at all when I looked it up on the movie site. Affleck and Paltrow are among talented actors, but their acts were so unbelievably fake in this movie. I guess the problem was that their characters were not compatible at all and this made their romantic involvement so boring, dull, not to mention intangible. It didn't excite you, didn't give you a rush. Didn't arouse ANY emotion for that matter.

I want my money back. Walt Whitman is probably rolling around in his grave as "Lilacs in this Film Wilt". This movie should have been titled "An Ode to Greg Janello" as the pallor of death, like the heavy scent of lilacs, hung over each scene in the film. Between Affleck's alcoholism and Paltrow's widowedom, neither is ready for a relationship and no sparks fly in this non-romantic, non-comedy tear jerker. It was tedious and mind-numbing. From plane crash to drive-through rehab. To non-romance, I wished I had given my movie ticket to Greg and crashed in the plane. I want my money back. To quote New Yorkers, forget about it.

The ending is very predictable, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. There is good chemistry between Affleck and Paltrow. Affleck, in particular, did a wonderful acting performance. Along with Ebert and Roeper I give this movie a thumbs up.

Listen, I'm a guy and I loved this movie - it just brings out the romantic side in everyone. This is not the usual "sad and crappy" movie. AND TRUST ME: Gwyneth Paltrow is just magnificent!!

"Bounce" is not that great. I believe that the biggest problems resides in the script. Many topics are introduced but gosh are they not well treated. First, Paltrow is not credible AT ALL as a mother. She just does not fit in that role. She is either too young are maybe just does not have any real experience with kids, but her act as for the mom thing... Na. Second, she lost her husband. She will then fall in love with Affleck... But there is no transition, there is no "taking your time because it will be hard for your children" time. Then there is that gay guy who works for Affleck. He was not that bad but why is it that Hollywood now needs to put a gay in every movie it produces. I mean you feel they are just trying to put one there because they are cool... After you get alchoolism that gets treated as a subject. This is probably the worst part because it is really badly done. You do not get over alchoolism with 90 days therapy and reading one chapter in the AA book. Anyways, the point is that there were way too many themes in this movie and none were really exploited correctly. The romance between Affleck and Paltrow is well, ok, but not with the kids and all... They just don't have it yet. And for what we see, they fall in love just like that. Two dates and hey I want to spend my life with you. Ya right. Last comment... The friend of Paltrow in the movie... Who is the person who casted this movie? Bad choice. Go see the movie, on a tuesday, it isn't that bad but don't expect much either. 6/10 (with half a point more because Affleck is good looking)

As a guy, I was a little skeptical about Bounce. I thought it was going to be another cliched romantic film. You know, the ones that end up the guy professing his love for the woman in the pouring rain. To my surprise Bounce, is nothing like that. It is a very subtle and realistic film, the characters act the way normal people would act in that situation. It's true that Bounce is a date movie, but it is a highly enjoyable one for both men and women. A must see for couples.
