This movie had me in stitches throughout. A great James Bond takeoff/comedy/farce. But a little bias against the cats! They should make another movie, "The Cats Strike Back", where the cats win. Then "Return of the Dogs", would be a no brainer. The lunacy continues!

Cats and Dogs Review! This was a sick movie... It was violent and well, sick. The plot 0/10 This plot was the most lame thing I've ever seen. I mean, come on!! Like the resolution: This dumb kid knocks a buncha crud over and... voila!! A dog allergy cure!! That's crud!! Animals (voice concept) 1/10 Ok... It was pretty cruddy, but it had something... The cats had good voices. Violence 10/10 This was a mean movie!! 1. A kitten is smushed 2. A cat blows up 3. Etc... See?

My kids are downstairs watching this. Kids must like this movie well enough. I sure didn't. No surprises anywhere in the story, except maybe that the evil genius cat wasn't that bright. Oh well, like I said, my kids like it.

Why do I hate this movie, you ask? Well, I'm a big animal lover. I've got 8 pets (2 cats, 4 fish, 1 snail, and a parakeet) and my favorits are the cats (Boots and Belle) O. K. , I'll admit it, I'm a cat lover (yeah, yeah, I'm evil, blah, blah, blah) Most people say if your a cat lover, you'll hate this, if your a dog lover, you'll love this movie. Not nessisaraly (s. P. ?) My friend is a dog-lover and said this movie was VERY boring. Infact, I like dogs (gasp! How coud a catlover ever like dogs?!?!) , but still hated this movie. Why it stunk: The plot was not origanal. The cats were evil, the dogs were good, and the heroe was an oh-so-cute beagle. The plot was lame. As if everyone in the world (think about this one) is going to buy that ONE type of fake X-mas tree and get allergic to mutts! It was insulting. This movie told me everyone who liked cats were sissey wimps and everyone who liked dogs was cool and 'neat'. The adults were also very stupid, as in most WARNER BROTHERS films. There are tons more reasons, to long to list. You want to rent a movie tonight? Go out and get he latest Disney film (like Snow Dogs or Lilo and Stitch) This movie sucks. P. s. No e-mail, please. I have a block. Don't bother trying to e-mail..

A very bad movie and a very bad idea. Wasted actors, wasted script, no plot what so ever. Very racial to animals. It's no wonder it's a bad movie. Avoid it all all cost.

WHATS NEW PUSSYCAT? I thought that CATS&DOGS was good-with my favorite actor SEAN HAYES as the voice of the evil cat was great (I even have a SEAN HAYES autograph!) Everything about this movie is cool-especially the soundtrack-wow-its powerful! Since I love animals and the guy who did the white cute cats voice-its perfect!

This Movie Is EXCELLENT! The voice talent is great, and the digital effects and animal training AND the puppetry is GENIUS!!! How they did it? I don't know, but it was great! People who think this film has no humour, then, they've never seen a real movie!

I took my three year old daughter to this movie because she just loves movies with animals in it. Well, I was quite disappointed and then I thought maybe the movie is geared for younger audience. But my daughter who loves to experience the movies could not sit still for this one. I don't even have to go further then that. I don't even think waiting for the video is worth your while.

This was the worst movie I've seen in a long time! I took my 5 and 7 year olds to it. They said they liked it but they fidgeted through the whole movie and laughed maybe once if you're lucky. It felt like a four hour movie. BORING NOT FUNNY.

I took my sister and nieces to this and although I heard negative things from a few people, I really enjoyed it! Some parts seemed a little too intense for very young children but there were non-stop jokes and comedic allusions for people of all levels. If you find the thought paratrooping ninja cats funny, you should not miss this one.

I like "Cats And Dogs" because I like animals. I want to have pets, but my family situation can't accept that. So I like to watch movies and TVs which about animals.

It was an entertaining movie. It's a take-off-your-shoes- and-lean-back movie. Relax and enjoy. Lighten up! My wife laughed so hard that she turned red. I have to admit that its audience target is the young and young-at-heart generation. It's still worth the money to see.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
This movie is worth watching. At first I thought no I definetly don't want to see this movie my mom's friend invited me, my sister and her grand children, anyway I start watching the movie and I get intristed who is gonna rule cats or dogs bla bla bla so it started having fights a new dog stays behind when a lady comes and picks him out of all of them so anyway I should not tell you all about the movie so movie is like air bud about a dog who wants to do something or belong to someone else they will probably end up by having cats and dogs return or cats and dogs 2 or maybe even cats and dogs the last fight of survival you get the picture right? So if you see it it will be worth your 5 or 8 dollars trust me see it!!! Oh yah almost forgot, Have a great time at the movies.

I found the trailer more clever and promising than the movie itself. It was still good but at times I was concious of the time. Certain scenes were fabulous and others fell a bit flat. I loved the scene in the trailer that is a takeoff of Tarintino's Reservoir Dogs with a pun on the word "dogs". Not as good as Shrek but on par with Dr Dolittle 2.

Funny? Cute? Great Movie? GET REAL!! I can't believe we paid money to see this? ! There were a couple laughable moments, but the rest was pretty lame. Very young children might find this amusing.
