This was an alright movie. A little slow at times. Could have been better. Cate Blanchett was good as always.

This movie was sensational. It was what movies should be. Storytelling. The director held beautiful cinematography and suspense in tension so poignantly. I was captivated by all the performers.

I went with 2 friends that thought that the movie was slightly more interesting than a prostate exam... Even though Kate Blanchet is very good the tempo is extremely slow, there isn't emotion worth feeling anything about. The whole movie is trying to explain the inner emotions of the main character. This book was probably very good but does not transfer to film.

Great love story and excellent movie... Cate Blanchatt's face says more than many words... beautiful landscapes... wouldn't hesitate a second to see this movie again! Enjoy!

I tought that Charlotte Gray was a well done movie. Verry well filmed and good actors were the best parts. At some moments the story seems a little long and well pointless but over all Cate Blanchett brings you into her life and state of mind. I enjoyed this movie and it's beatiful settings, of course if not in the mood for a war movie and a little love story I don't recomend it!

Some parts of the movie seem a little weak and the story loses detail and you are left wondering what's going on. The reason I still enjoyed the movie though and would recommend it to others is that the photography is wonderful and the scenery enchanting. I actually won tickets to see the movie so not sure how I'd feel if I was actually paying $$ to see it but I still feel it's worth it. Definitely more of a woman's movie than a man's.

Sometimes a book should remain a book. This is one of those examples. It feels like a book. There was no reason nor budget necessary to turn this into a movie. Long and boring. Nothing really happens. Charlotte Gray even makes that clear near the end by stating that she doesn`t know what she`s doing in France or what she`s doing at all. Everyone in the cinema felt the same way. Good performances do not a movie make. Even with free première tickets I think I could have found something more useful to do with my time.

Hi! Cate Blanchett was an incredible influence on my opinion of this movie. She is a superb actress. So, people's history is the issue one more time, regardless, the love side of this story is one of life's experiences to learn from, as well as the occupation of Europe. I love the era's style and emotional value. However, it is a good movie to rent with a bowl of popcorn and cuddling for two hours.

It was a good movie but not fantastic. The acting and scenery were very good but the story a bit slow at times.
