Well I have seen atleast 4 Jet Li movies. This one was just different because it was made in Paris. This Guy almost has same sort of gongfu styles in all his movies (except Once upon a time in china series) My all time favorite of Li's movie is Fist of the legend (a remake of fists of fury or the chinese connection of The Legend Bruce Lee) Jet Li was cool in that movie. In this movie the story line was totaly absurd. But this movie has good action to it as others have expressed it. Not a bad movie.

The action was excellent, not too over-done. The story line needed a little work, but it wasn't too noticeable because of the good Jet Li action.

The movie is good but not as good as the bodyguard from Beijing. My all time fav. He's got moves alright and is still the world's greatest tai chi master in my book. Watch the movie!!!

Wow! This movie was a non stop adventure into high quality martial arts. Jet Li and Jackie Chan both has explosive style but after that the similarities dwindle. Jet Li can actually speak english and act! He also surrounds himself with actors who can do the same. (however Briget Fonda does a bit of over acting in this one) He has been in a few duds but for me each picture he is in just gets better! Rent it now and tommorrow you'll want to enroll in a martial arts class!

Kiss the dragon is one of the best movie of the year, no pain, no game, Lee is a kung fu master, that no Seagal will be at his level, not even close.

Definitely Jet Li's best American movie so far. Pretty violent though. But definitely worth seeing and lots of fun.

Simple, predictable and watchable... That's what I call entertainment! Many who have seen this movie would be entertained but some would not... Why? Coz. They are "SISSIES"!!!

A truly awful movie. Unless you're a disciple of the genre, this Jet Li flick simply takes your money. A flimsy, convoluted storyline and shoddy dialogue surround a few entertaining fight scenes. Rent it with lots of beer.

Story as always is lacking composition but the movie is redeemed in its awesome fight scenes. However, some scenes are of course physically impossible but you are there to be entertained with surealism.

NOT enough violence, JET could do better Martial Arts. He kicks a$$ & all but go see his other Chinese movies (The Hitman), to reveal his capabilities. Jet's weak point: doesn't fight woman. Overall: best American film for JET.

WOW! This is a 9/10 movie! Comfortably predictable, old plot, fist-of-fury rip-off, but well, well worth the price of admission. I loved the villain!! He was so, ... Hateable. I liked the hero: efficient yet vulnerable. I'd buy the DVD when it comes out!! Just don't expect OSCAR caliber quality here, and you'll have fun.

Hmmmmmm, a French villanous cop, a prostitute seeking love, and a mild yet dangerous Asian cop... All the components of a good ABC movie. However, we must always ask why do we go to see a particular movie and what are we hoping to get out of it. Of course this movie is not a classic, but nor should anyone expect it to be. People see this movie for one reason: Jet Li. This guy is so fast that they have to ask him to slow down his moves so that the camera can capture them. Amazing fight scenes in this movie, and raw ones at that. Bloody, neck twisting battles, not for the weak of heart. The plot is weak and contrived, but who cares, it's Jet Li. The ending is kind of cool in a grusome sort of way. Go see it, but don't spend 12$.

Just what I expected from a Jet Li movie; lots of well-choregraphed fight sequences, gratuitous violence. His character is redeemed to some degree in that the bad guys give him no recourse but to kick ass. Never before have I seen Jane Fonda's abilities so wasted, that role was so lacking in depth I'm surprised she took it.

This is a great martial flick with an interesting story. There are many parallels to DIE HARD but with a martial arts twist. I`m glad Jet Li did not fall into the mold of having ridiculous fight scenes for free. I`m also glad that Bridget Fonda was not a martial arts prostitute! There were 2 gratuitous fight scenes a la Bruce Lee but these were entertaining. The villan was likeable and was played excellently! Loved it!

A remarkably bad movie. While some of the action sequences were pretty nifty, the scenario under which they occured were so ludicrous as to ruin the enjoyment. In general extremely gratuitously violent (which I normally don't mind, but not when it's taken so seriously). Rent "The Enforcer" - formerly "My Father is Hero", "High Risk", "Fists of Legend", or if you can still find a copy "Shaolin Temple" if you want to see good Jet Li martial arts.

This Jet Li movie is alright. I am expecting more actions from Jet Li, but it was ok... I still think he can do a lot more actions and more fightings. I would recommend this movie to people who are crazy about Jet Li movies. If not, wait till the video is out. Save your money.

Another Jet Li's cliche movie. For some who don't know him it's maybe interesting but for those who knows him it's predictable... He seems like the normal neighbor and the next thing you know he's this great hero. It did have some more touchy parts than Romeo must die... That was weird I mean the ending... No kiss nothing... Oh well I think he had enough of those hollywood movie's cliche that ends by the couple kissing together.

Hey, this was a good flick! I saw it with my husband and expected to be disappointed, but I really got into it. That Jet Li character is pretty good and the story was alright. It was a little too violent for my tastes, but I actually got into it. That's rare for me and action flicks. It must be good. Go see it.

This movie was really good! It was great how there was action throughout the WHOLE movie, unlike some action films there are only a few really good stunts and then the rest of the movie is a flop... But not this one, many things we're unexpected, though others we're slightly improbable... I really enjoyed this movie! Nevertheless it is not for everybody, you have to like Jet Li films to enjoy this movie (since he wrote the story...).

This movie was a beatem-up bash with really cool fight scenes. Once again, Jet Li displays his amazing athleticism and martial art skills with grace. Although he's not quite as fast as he once was, Jet Li still can kick butt. Go watch for the action, but don't expect too much from the storyline.

Why would Luc Besson subject his followers to such a poorly constructed story - with a weak plotline and poor acting to match!? Jet Li is a saviour - because without him, the movie wouldn't have lasted as long as a dog in a Korean lifeboat. The choreography is good and the special effects decent - so why not try and write an original score? Did the producers really feel the need to cast "La Femme Nikita"? The movie has all the right ingredients; a foreign setting, a great lead actor, good writing/directing, a large budget - and a million people waiting to see Jet Li rip it up. Speaking for only one of them - I'm still waiting.

I was disappointed with this Jet Li movie. Firstly, he's too fast for the camera. There were some serious moves in this film worth seeing. You'd see him start the move, then tracers and then was done. No offence Bridget Fonda, but your role sucked. If you're going to have an action flick, be it all the way. A little romance is good. Unfortunately, the way it was done in this movie, it was a little tacky and slowed down the movie.

Great movie! The action is pretty constant and the fight scenes are better than those of Jet Li's previous movie, Romeo must die. Also, even tho the story isn't much elaborated, it's worth watching the movie just for the fight scenes, and also, remember that it is an ACTION movie so you can't really expect too much stuff plot-wise. Great movie overall.

Hardcore Jet-Li, better than Romeo must die, speaks a little more and liked the acting from all... Good action although fight scenes could've been done much better, too much close ups, transitions, and editing. Some parts didn't make sense but I didn't care. Best American Jet-Li movie yet.
