This is a great movie about relationships, with a nice "trip" scene that's pretty convincing... all in all a movie worth watching if you are not looking for an action flick.

I wasn't very impressed with this movie considering all the great actors in it. Wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

Nice atmosphère, lots of skillful actors and actresses, clever script, cool settings, peaceful music, wicked props, and non-Hollywood style. It is a true delightful comedy, not a stupid comedy with dirty jokes.

This film reminded me somewhat of the dysfunctional family get together in The Celebration, although it is not nearly as dark. The acting performances are all very strong, and there is some excellent dialogue. Although not as powerful as Altman`s The Player, this film does give us the same sort of voyeuristic glimpse of Hollywood. This film`s emphasis, however, is more on the ambivalence that exists in human relationships.

This is cinema verité at its best. If you like artsy off-beat films, this is it. It was shot in digital video to give the feeling of a private celebration recorded by a hired cameraman, which is not uncommon in Hollywood. Everything was totally credible and not overdone, and reflects what likely goes on in the lives of Hollywood actors. The scenes fluctuate from calm reserved conversations to wild dysfunctional and drug crazed behavior with all the typical screaming and procrastination.

I thought this movie was very entertaining and real up to a certain point... then it turned soap opera and lost all credibility. However, with a little work I think that it has very interesting potential.
