This second installment was a little druggy for me but overall it was superbly done.

While I may not like it as much as the first one this is still very awesome and just maybe a bit too long. But then again I guess if it isn't that long wouldn't be able to fit everything from the book and the fans of the book would be very disappointed. Anyway an excellent plot, excellent characters, and overall a fantastic movie. I was pleasantly surprised to see Gandalf back I have never read the books that's why but I digress perfect movie if you haven't seen it go check it out.

Wow, another amazing experience. A must-see on the big screen. Was anticipating this release and was not let down in the least.

The Two Towers isn't better than the first one, it's actually the worst of the series because it seems too simplistic and predictable. Although the movie is very heavy in battle sequences, I wouldn't call it a masterpiece though. But it is definitely uplifted by the strong spirit and development of it's extended version. This one in my opinion has the best extended version out of the entire series. The build-up is steady and brings the movie into a strong structure. It has the most important parts of the entire series. And Peter Jackson does very well putting them together. I just didn't like this one as of being an amazing masterpiece because it's nothing special. I enjoyed it, it's probably in my top 20, but not in my top 10. But everything in this movie is stellar. All in all, it's a pretty good show.

The greatest movie ever conceived, save the other films in the trilogy. I loved all of the LOTR films, amazing movies.

There are few words that can explain this truly great work. It has to be seen on the big screen and big sound. It all about the big story (and series) And you got to love special effects and graphics to really appreciate this genre.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
This movie completely follows the Fellowship of the Ring! Pippin and Mary being captured by orcs, Frodo and Sam making there way to Mordor alone, and the other three following Pippin and Mary. When Gandolf was back it the movie just got better!! A must see one of the best movies of the year!

I really think that the second episode in the Lord of the Rings is so far better than the first. It was really nice to see it. I give a 10 even if I know that it's rare that a movie could worth that much. I saw that movie 10 times after they showed it at the theatre. So, it is because it's fantastic he!!

I recommend to see all three movies in this series. It has everything you need in a movie and doesn't drag at all. A good story with alot of meaning.

Well, halfway in this movie sort of put me to sleep, I knew the second one wouldn't compare to the first, I mean it was so hard to follow each charactor, and there was to much places to remember, but the ending was tense the big battle showed that the third one is going to have lots of wars and is going to get you thrilled, but this second one maybe needed some more time to come out, but still a good movie Peter Jackson.

Excellent finale to the previous movies. Only complaint I have is that the ending is sooo long. You think it is over, and it's not for about another half hour. Other than that, a definite must see!

The perfect transition from trilogy intro to the main conflict of the story: events leading up to a thunderous battle over middle earth. See it for these events and the start of the war.
