This movie was 5 stars from me. The acting superb, scenes phenomenal aerial scenes, just enough romance, not to much, everything very authentic! Humour laced throughout the film. George.

When this movie first came out in 1986, I saw it in the theatres 10 times... my all time favourite. Just plain fun with great dogfight scenes and an amazing cast... must see!!!

This movie is the closest to the real thing. Tom Cruise plays Pete Mitchell a very arrogant, competitive jet jock who has a relationship with Kelly McGillis his instructor. The flying is unbelievable, music won many awards and the new advanced sound is lifelike!

Fabulous story line and Tom Cruise is at his best in this one! I love this movie as much as I did the first time I saw it in '86. My all-time favourite in surround sound too!

One of the films that made Tom Cruise. Film was put together perfectly. His best friend is exactly what we expect from a best friend, his competitors are the type we hate, unless we are on the same team. A totally satisfying film experience.
