This movie was so disappointing sad to say... You'll know what I mean if you ever see this one.

Hanks and Ryan do the romantic comedy thing well together. This one wasn't quite up to Sleepless in Seattle, but both these actors are so good at creating likeable characters that you can't go wrong with this as a date movie.

A cute film, perhaps not quite as good as "Sleepless in Seattle" but worth the watch.

More like "You've got no idea's"! If you're going to see a movie with a very predictable plot, you would at least expect it to entertain you. Nope, it was a boring and cheesy chick flick. The director, Norah Ephron, just mirrored the same idea with the same actors in Sleepless in Seattle. And she based Sleepless on one of Hollywoods ultimate romance movies, An Affair to Remember. Hmm, and then there's When Harry Met Sally another Ephron classic with the too-cute Meg Ryan. I'm sick of Hollywood. All you see is the same actors in the same roles, simply who's the most popular in the biz at that time. Meg Ryan is too cute for any normal girl to appreciate and relate too. Warm and fuzzy you all say? Unrealisitic and pathetic is what I say. How depressing.

Any movie that uses the AOL theme as it's hook needs to be 451'd. Hasn't everybody seen this movie like 100 times in it's oher prepackaged forms. Yuck.

Trite, cliche, and unoriginal. Sub-standard "romantic comedy" with a script pieced together by a monkey, some duct tape, and a bin of bad "romantic comedy" scripts.

I loved this romance... It was so close to real life as now adays most of us meet members of the opposite sex through email and chat lines. This was so warm and refreshing... I smile when I remember the movie... The acting was super. And who would not love to meet Meg Ryan or Tom hanks.

When are people going to grow tired of these cute, fluffy stories that now seem formulaic ('When Harry Met Sally', 'Sleepless in Seattle'). Meg Ryan is good at these movies, but that's not a compliment; I've rarely seen her in anything worth seeing. Tom hanks has proved he's a great actor, so maybe he should lay off doing these movies, which in my opinion hurt his credibility.

A little bit too long, but highly watchable. Though brought to you by the same people as 'Sleepless In Seatle', this is a movie that is charming in its own way. If you have a choice between this and Patch Adams, see this one.

Not a bad movie. A light-romantic comedy, and thanks to technologies like emailing! Meg Ryan is always sweet to watch. Tom Hanks is well... Tom Hanks! Although there's a deja-vu, like the one in Sleepless in Seatle, the plot is different. This movie is an entertainment!

It's like a better, more modern version of Sleepless in Seatle.

Though the movie starts out with too many characters that don't really help to develop the main characters Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) and Joe Fox (Tom Hanks), it does start to focus more on them later on; which is a good thing considering that the duo of Ryan and Hanks make any romantic-comedy enjoyable. The plot is about two rivaling bookstore owners that have e-mail pals without knowing that it is really each other. You'll enjoy it because it's cute. You might dislike it because it starts to drag after almost two hours (this romantic-comendy is, in fact, two hours long!). Partial options goes to whether you think this movie being similar to Sleepless In Seattle is a good or bad thing. GRADE: B

Great movie!!! Although it shows many of today's relationships through internet, it was very well acted out. Meg Ryan was very good! Worth the full $8.75
