A very entertaining movie, despite a little more than enough gratuitous violence. This has lots of twists and turns especially as it works its way into the climax. Some of them probably do not align with the earlier path of getting there, but by the time you're there you can't really put your finger on some of the things that didn't actually fit. John 'Revolting' was very good and quite credible in this role and, though a bit excessive with both the violence and the twists and turns, it still leaves you feeling right about the outcome. An all-round well made and entertaining movie.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! What more can I say. You have to see this movie. John Travolta is at his best. The movie will keep you guessing as to what is actually going on right up to the end. Just when you think you know what is going on it takes another twist and you are back to trying to figure out who is telling the truth, whos lying and who is on whos side. You must see this on the big screen. This is the first movie in a long time that really made me think - during and even after the movie had ended. You all gotta go see it.

Basic is basically your basic thriller, only worse. It's a film that tries to disguise its lazy plot and flimsy characters with twists that make no sense, and with a seemingly endless series of false endings that reveal everyone and no one as a villain at the same time. It's hollow, soulless, and unabashedly pleased with itself without justification - just like the character Travolta plays..

That is a strange movie. Nothing is the same as you see, you must keep thinking. I'd like to say John Travolta gets his new figure after "the general's daughter". He did a great job even he is not hot and slim as he was in "Grease", but he IS one of the greatest star in this time. I like it.

Amazing movie. More twists than a high school dance in the 60s. Go see it.

Was an interesting movie, but a little over done or the twist, unrealistic.

Overall pretty good movie, it has many twist and turns. Excellent pick of actors, all of them played pretty well. This movie will make you think a lot and that is why it's a good movie, two tumbs up!!

If something is true in the description of this movie, it's that nothing is as it seems. I won't say much more. Go see the movie and figure it out. It'll keep you guessing until the end. If you go to the movie to relax and give your brain a break, don't go see this movie. Even when the truth is finally revealed, that movie makes you think.

This was definitely an interesting movie to see. The beauty in this movie is that it actually made you think. Nothing is given to you you are like the characters trying to figure out the facts to the mystery. This was a very unique performance from John Tavolta. It was interesting to see that even after the movie was finished and the lights were back on, people where sitting down discuss the different issues in the movie. I believe some will want to go and see it a second time to grasp what they missed the first time. Excellent!

This is a okay movie. You might ask yourself some questions afterwards because this movie makes you think a lot. You should see the movie and then ask yourself a few questions.

I just saw "Basic". The movie was fantastic! It was surprising, it kept me thinking. There were a few laughs... A little bloody though... In my opinion, it's a must see in the theatre unless you have a big screen at home otherwise you might miss something. The actors and actresses were great! Kudos to all involved in the making! Enjoy! :-)
