I didn't like the second Matrix very much, but I thought to myself," This might all be tied together in a great ending." Couldn't be further from the truth. How did they follow up such a great movie with these two terrible attempts at a conclusion? It did nothing to explain the gaping pot holes left after the second matrix. The original matrix will be great forever, this movie will be the known as the worst ever once we create better visual effects (and that is not far off)

I won't say that this movie reaches anywhere near the heights of the first two believe it's no where near that good. But it does serve as a good ending to the trilogy and it's better than some of the flicks of 2003 case in point Ang Lee's Hulk, Daredevil, and Lord of the Rings Return of the King which was too long but I won't get into that and they other two where just way too emotional. Anyways getting back to The Matrix Revolutions this movie is good in some ways and bad in others I think it would have been better too see Neo destroy the machines rather than make peace with them like he did but hey close enough. The fight between The human controlled APU's and the mechanical and ruthless Sentinels was great and the battle between Neo and Smith was equally as impressive. Not as good as the first two but close enough to bring a satisfying end to this trilogy.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Movie is worth seeing if you are a matrix fan, but might leave you disappointed depending on your taste. For those who enjoyed the action and the matrix over the real world will not enjoy the movie as much. Those who enjoy the whole real word story with the machines and zion and the city and all will like this one the most. Didnt like the ending, didnt like the long chunk of machine war but its still a decent movie. Action like the first matrix is only present in 2 scenes: the Club shootout and the final Smith vs. Neo Brawl. Those were the two most memorable scenes of this movie. I gave it a 7 because I am a fan of the series, for people who didnt enjoy the first one that much, it might be more of a 6 or 5.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] The ending sucked. The fight scenes were great. The first two are much better. I didn't expect Neo to [...] in the fight with Agent Smith.

Dear Lord, what can I say? The fights were amazing and the visuals were great, but that's about the only good thing I can say. I loved the first two, but this one "finished" the trilogy in the worst way imaginable. My favorite and my second favorite characters die, the machines still rule over the human race and hello- "a beautiful dawn in a prizon for your mind where everyone's happy while they have needles shoved in their brains" anyone? A new definition to the word "RUINED".

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Pretty good film. The final Neo/Smith fight was really cool, and the Zion fight was O. K. Really good soundtrack, and an ending that made sense. The dialogue and acting were bad, but still a solid movie, very underatted.

The Wachowskis are artists and have shown it in the entire trilogy. There are subtle things to look for. Plus the ending of the movie really spoke to me.

Probably the biggest disappointment in cinema history. It seems as though the Wachowski brothers outsourced the script writing to a 12 year-old comic book nerd and forgot to proofread. This was so bad that it nearly ruined the first 2 for me. Absolutely dreadful and pointless. Too bad. The first two were such great, cutting-edge films. I remember leaving the theatre angry. It is shameful that they would let this happen to what was a defining film series of the early 21st century. Pretend this one never happened.

I think the movie was great, they should make a fourth one. A good story would be to have some of the people released from the Matrix go search for Neo in the Machine City.

I really did not enjoy this movie. I found it uninteresting and unable to even hold my attention. The worst thing about it was its lack of clarity. The first movie was clear and organized. Everything made sense. In this movie, there were a bunch of strange and unclear concepts floating around, not making much sense. For example, the entire "train" concept made little or no sense. As well, the ending was muffled, unclear and ended with a conversation involving that horrific and vague Architect character, who appears so wrapped up in himself he can barely make any sense at all. The realness and clarity of the first picture were what attracted me to it, and I felt that the blurry concepts of this movie did not do the series justice. As well, the battle scenes between men and machines were kind of corny. Silly emotional cliches, such as the general giving direction to some misguided and innocent young kid just made it all the more stupid. I couldn't be bothered with the battles either. The series did not end realistically and it definitely was not original. The Matrix was a very original movie and seemed very real. This movie was unclear, unoriginal and seemed very fake.

I absolutely loved this movie. To people who only liked number 1, you arent a true Matrix fan. My boyfriend turned me onto these movies and I think the 3rd is the best one. It has a all different themes, the love between Neo and Trinity has grown over the 3 movies and in this one it's a true show of how much there is love is everlasting... A must see movie.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] It was cool. In a way the ending was expected after trinity died. Altough I want a fourth part and neo to be alive, because some things weren't finished. What happened with the mervorgian, the other agents alive and a lot more. Please make a fourth part! In that fourth part Smith to be alive too because he and neo are in balance and if one of them is alive then the other must be alive too. And in the final neo finds a way to separate himself from Smith and fights with him. After a very cool fight neo wins and after that he kills the other agents, and the mervorgian. In the final everyone is freed from the matrix and neo goes back to the machine world. THE END.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] The third matrix had the least amount of fighting within the Matrix itself because Smith's takeover, I would have been more interested to see how fast Smith worked over the Martix than the "path" neo must take or the endless Zion scenes. The end fight was silly with all the superman flying around stuff. But the scene's that really stick out are from that very fight. The impact of blows that stop the rain around the combatants was cool and my favorite part of the movie is when they have a super special effects slow motion of a punch through the rain drops on Smith's face, that was incredible. But, in a movie called "matrix", theres little action in what made the movie in the first place, the matrix darn it all!!

You know, I just don't get other people who thinks that the matrix thrilogy is crap. I think that the actors have worked relly hard to make that movie and all the creww as well. We should at least give them some respect to say that their work is being appreciated. COME ON people what is wrong with this movie? NOTHING it is a sci-fiction movie and the best that I have seen, as I said they put in a lot of effort and a lot of work to make this movie that best, which it is. And you should of seen the matrix revisited, look how they do it, look how the actors suffer to make a great movie. And people who wrote 1/10 or 2/10 or said that it sucked, they should think more before writing. And how come this movie didn't get nominated for an oscar, some people say because it sucked, but others like me say that the academy should reconsider the prize and at least get the matrix thrilogy nominated for something. They, the cast and crew, worked as hard as the ones that did The Lord OF The Rings. They should diserve some respect. I SAY THAT THEY SHOULD DO THE 4TH MATRIX! I am looking forward to see the 4th matrix. I REALLY LOVE THIS MOVIE AND I GIVE IT MORE THAN JUST 10/10, but since this site doesn't alow it so it's ten. KEEP DOING THE SEQUEL... MY LIFE DEPENDS ON THAT... I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! It is truly a MASTERPIECE!!!

Out of all of the Matrix trilogies, I thought this one was the worrst. It seems that they couldn't come to a straight ending, instead leaving it with what was a poor attempt at a final twist.

Pants. Bollocks. Its based on racist discourse. Exoticising the 'Other' in the base way that American culture excels at. The rave up love fest scences exeplify my point from the 2nd movie and this theme continued into the 3rd. And come on, how could a bloke with the mental capacity of a sparrow become a postmodern Jesus?

Same old, same old but with a twist. If you have a thirst for the Matrix go see it but do not expect anything fresh. Once again the special effects are great and the story is always left to hang.

The best of the three. Volume 2 of the main matrix story, the war follow. The shooting, explosions and shockwaves keep your eyes glued on the screen. And it is indeed a conclusion. I don't expect another sequel because then there will be too many endings and more flaws. But anyways see this movie.

I can't believe I had to suffer through that."What do they want? You KNOW what they want. What must I do? You KNOW what you must do." ARh! Lame, lame, lame. Basically, the series has reached a point where special fx just CANNOT compensate for poor plot and dialog. The worst thing is, they set up the ending so that there's room for yet another sequel.

Saw the movie for $3. That's all it's worth too!! Very disappointing. What happened to all those so-called powers Neo had? In previous movie he discovers he has powers outside the matrix. He battles Smith again this one last time and resorts to little more than fist-a-cuffs!!! What gives? Don't want to give everything away, but what a let down way let down from first movie. Don't see this movie if you are planning on paying $13 to get in. NOT WORTH IT!!!

This movie left me thinking, "What?! " I was less than satisfied with the ending. The special effects were great but became boring after a short while, particularly in the final fight scene. In addition there were some aspects of the Zion battle that were rediculous. For a group of desperate humans they sure didn't have much in the way of tactical understanding when they built there weaponry or trained their soldiers.

I didn't take the critics word for it. I wanted to see for myself. Well, what a disappointment. What a Anti-Climax. I have never seen such horseshit. I would rate the two previous episodes as probably the most original idea and among the best movies I have ever seen, deserving of several academy awards. If I rate this movie on its own and forget about the other two I would rate it a 4/10. To consider it the third part of what I believe to be a classic, I can't give it more than 1/10. This movie has ruined the whole matrix concept. If you never saw the other two, and have nothing to do you can go see it at a reduced price. If you saw and understood the other two and are expecting the same level of entertainment. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Consider yourselves warned. I will try to forget about this movie and think of the Matrix as a two part trilogy.

It was totaly awesome, man! It blew me away. For all those who who thought it was garbage, don't critique the story till you understand the philosophy. They go together. If you don't really want to think about the philosophy, just watch the movie, enjoy the action (which is really awesome, though there's a couple of things a bit overdone in the last battle), and ignore the little plot twists if you don't understand them. Trust me, they have to be there.

I think this final chapter of the Matrix is absolutely amazing. I could not have been more pleased with the entire film, especially the ending, as well as with the continuance of unanswered questions and philosophical ponderings. If you did not get it, think harder and stop letting your mind be controlled by others. Is there truth? Yes. Do humans know it all? No. We do have choices to make however, and we should seek to understand them. This is the basic premise of the Matrix. Kudos to the "Brothers" for not going formulaic and predictable with this important story. Ultimately, this trilogy will go down in history as both ground-breaking and thought provoking. I only wish that regular people would give it as much consideration as academia has. It's relevance and cultural impact will flow down as philosophy always does, but we have been given a gift with this, and it seems as if most of us did not get it. Too bad.
