As I enter these comments this movie is a carrying a 6.4 rating, and that is far below what it really is worth. This was a very entertaining piece of work, with lots of feel good and still lots of thought provocation. The period is essential to the theme but it does cause thought about how things were, how they are, and how they might become within our social norms and expectations. Good values prevailed and good writing, staging, directing and acting abounded, producing a great enjoyable flick without excessive ugliness, bad language or 'get in your face' power exercise. A good enjoyable movie.
