Saying this movie is a classic does not do it justice... just hearing a refrain from its music takes me back to its exquisite beauty. The story unfolds and pulls you into the youthful, bittersweet emotions that can only be fully felt when they are but a memory. The landscape, the faces, the dialogue are haunting in their familiarity. See it again and again.

This is my favourite film of all times. It is a romantic story, but it is much more than that, the music is so beautiful, and the story is really emotional. Please please dont see the extended version on a new release DVD, with 50 additional minutes. The original story is the best, those 50 minutes change completely the story and destroy it.

It isn't very often that a wonderful story comes to life on film. This is truly a masterpiece. It made me laugh, cry and most importantly think about life itself. The music is so soothing that I find myself listening to it over and over. Treat yourself to a great movie!

A movie about life, and I being one who battled cancer should know. One of the greatest movies ever written.

This is a great movie about relationships. This is an original story that is dialogue driven. It takes you through different periods of a person`s life and his relationship with a film projectionist. Excellent!
