We really enjoyed this Star Trek movie. Great special effects, it was nice to see the origins of the characters, and the action scenes were really good. I loved Zachary Quinto as Spock, perfect casting. It didn't have the cheese or kitsch of some of the previous Star Trek movies which I didn't miss at all. Even if you are not a big fan of ST (I'm not) you will enjoy it.
