When I see some here give this movie an 8/10 or above, it confirms my suspicions that we are in a cycle of Canadian history of "Dunbing Down Society" This movie had good intentions but unskilled people behind it and a lack of vision. I could forgive this if it were a new concept or they were trying something over the edge. But to make this "FLUFF" when they had Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings as a benchmark to go by makes this movie nothing more than a fake Christmas tree. It had potential, but disappointed IMHO. All that said, It had it's moments and I think young children will enjoy it.
