I despised this movie, I thought it was completely horrible, it had the potential to be funny if the acting were a little better and believable my friend and I rented it thinking it was about a cheerleader that got pregnant and we both hated it. Some parts were way over done I will admit it has a good point, you can't change who people really are, but the acting was horrible, and frankly... the plot was bad too.

Tried watching 3 times, however I just found it boring. The jokes recycled and redictable.

I think this movie is really funny and cool the women are beautiful (Natasha Lyonne) I think the gay guys are funny to watch it's a really cute movie they crack me up. The budding romance between Megan and Graham is ultimately hot.

Well, this has got to be the best comedy I've seen so far. It's really a spoof of all those camps where kids are sent to become straight. This movie proves that no one gay can become straight. Also we see how the kids have to act straight just to fit it. Natasha Lyonne and Clea Duval are amazing in this movie. Also you should watch it if you wanna see RuPaul as a man... My favorite movie no doubt. I watch it almost every month.

"But I'm A Cheerleader" is easilly one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time. It's funny but it's also extremely relevant to our culture (it's a satire... if you didn't pick up on that, well, now you know) And Clea Duval is dead sexy.

I found this movie to be exceptional. Perfect with sex goddess Clea. Really enjoyed the entire movie, think it should be made mandatory to watch in high school.

Has there ever been a more aptly named film? It was brillant. Who knew that Ru Paul, a Barbie styled dream home, and 1950s attitudes were the cure for homosexuality?

This is the best and funniest film I've ever seen about young people in the US. It shows, in my view, the way of thinking of American people who are so puritans and afraid of everything that's different. This is a good comedy, a good social film, an ideal film for me!!!

Very tongue-in-cheek and funny. A good laugh at homophobe mentality.

"But I'm A Cheerleader" is the worst movie in the whole world. It was long and boring. Somewhere underneath all that sorry excuse for a movie there may have been a good idea but it didn't show through. I would have given it zero but it wasn't an option.

Full of sarcasm and great 'cliches'... It made me laugh all the way through... Seen it twice and will see it again... So what if the characters were portrayed in an exagerated way? Where would we be if we could not laugh at ourselves every once in a while... Just loved Clea DuVall, Cathy Moriarty and of course RuPaul (as a man), the movie was worth watching just for them...
