Hairspray is a terrible movie, it's suppose to be very good. But I rather watch High School Musical, because this ones a bore. A Musical is only good if it has good music, Hairspray's music is repetitive, repulsive, annoying, and continuous that you just get so stressed. John Travolta was funny, but the movie altogether was just bad.

Um... the points are only for the original Broadway Musical. The movie... sorry guys. I just can't stand it. The major thing for me was Zac Efron. That guy needs -I repeat, NEEDS- some singing lessons. Now. The rest of the people weren't bad, though. Rest of the cast - keep it up.

I like all the the actors in the movie especially Zac Efron!! But I didn't find the movie that amazing. It was kind of good in the beginning but then it got very boring and at the end it was okay I was pretty disappointed.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: As a musical, Hairspray succeeds as a fast paced, high energy and feel good motion picture. Performances enhance the storyline, singing and dance numbers are strong and are solidly delivered, sets are visually appealing and the integration of racial issues make this film worth watching and listening to. Well Done.

The movie is musical movie. I expect that the movie is best, but I have love the music, he is cheerful, that we give the feel like of dance. The movie is in the era sixties. In the era sixties the people have the fun to live so the music to release the fun th era sinxties. The music express the feeling of caracter, the caracter sing in the music and dance. The moral in the tale i he need keep hope for change the world. Happy.

Hairspray is a comedy musical, it's a new movie directed by Adam Shankman. It's came out in summer 2007 and it's out in dvd in fall 2007. It a special movie because it had a time line and it is in 60's. Now I will you talk about the soundtrack in this film. The soundtrack is very amazing, it's had a lot different style of music and sometime soundtrack depend of the mood. For example it's had love music because the character is in love, happy music because she happy and it had dance music because they all dance. When I hear that soundtrack , I wanted dance because is very awesome, to see the dancer in the movie and listen the music. In conclusion I think is very good movie, and in this movie the music change the mood. I give 9/10...

If you like a musical go see it. Good story and J. Travolta was great. I went to this because I had seen the other movies at the theatre, and the lady at the till recommended it. Although not my type of movie I did enjoy it. Good songs.

A visually attractive high energy musical with generally appealing performances. The 60’s segregation and race relations theme is the focus here and Hollywood’s obsession with mixed race love is in full bloom. The story is largely carried along by the music which is fast paced and frantic - there is not a lot of dialogue in the script usually a few lines between each song. Worth seeing in the theater to get the big screen visual and sound effect.
