A great message to another excellent Tyler Perry movie. Laugh one minute, tears in the eyes the next. So glad to see Gladys Knight and Mary J. Blige in singing and acting roles. Definitely recommended!

Everything was on point, got you thinking and I enjoy'd all the actors. The singing got me but it was good. If your old enough to pick and decipher through the messages you'll walk away from this movie feeling filled and moved at the same time. I gladly say "money well spent". I'm glad Mr. Tyler Perry is engaging these young minds into awareness because some are far too clueless to what's really out there, yet under no supervision to guide in the right way to really grasp life to the fullest.

Fake trailer to make people buy their ticket, by showing media's jokes... where any one can tell "media" is just a extra part of this movie, which might added after they complete this bullshit, when director found out that they made a crap out of nothing... added a fake trailer to scam movie lovers. Real slow boring waste of valuable time.

An absolute TP classic. I cried, I laugh it's hilarious. The altimate message of the movie is what a lot of people miss. Don't fall under that category. Go and see the movie now...

Not a bad movie but a little far fetched at times as is usually the case with Tyler Perry movies. Characters are either really good, really shy, really bad or really silly almost to a fault. The movie gets the point across and there is a good story here. The problem is that there is nothing new to offer the audience, therefore, no need to rush out to see this one.

This movie was OK... 2 many songs (6 to be exact)and Madea is almost absent... I loved all the previous Perry movies but his one leaves me wanting more...

I really felt entertained with this movie. I mean from beginning to end things happen, drama, changes, evolution of the characters. What makes these movies particular, is of course the Tyler Perry brand of humor. There is no question that while these movies deal with extremely dramatic topics, they also lend you to leave with a smile. You end up having been handed an extremely dense matter subject with a little touch of Tyler in it which lets you leave the movies with a smile. And Mr Perry is getting pretty pretty good at it.

I wouldn't classify this as a comedy. The characters go through serious life situations which are hard to endure. Low self-esteem and confidence seems to be the underlying theme.

Great movie, message & music. Refreshing to see a film that encourages faith in GOD. Good moral messages. Worth the full $10 paid. Loved listening to the music.

One of the best movies I've seen in a long while. Go see it! It will touch you. I just wish Madea would have been involved a bit more. But Madea was great too!

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Movie was okay. I'm definitely a fan of Tyler Perry's movies as I like the morals and message it tries to get across. Also, as a Christian, like movies that promote Christianity. That being sad had mixed feelings on Tyler's instructions for prayer & Peter's walk on the water. However, for me the movie was lacking in chemistry between leader actor & actress. Story could have been developed better - many missing gaps though easy to follow & a happy ending. P. S. - The singing was excellent!

This movie had me laughing, crying, laughing and thinking. As is the usual Tyler Perry style, he gave us something to think about - real life situations that affect people in life... not just African Americans... even with the cultural differences... we can all learn something from his stories. Thank you for carrying his movies...
