User's review

The Half-Blood Prince has many flaws in the storyline. But the way David Yates tries to make this horrid novel into a good movie is a challenging success. In the end, he leaves you with wanting more. He did the exact same with the 5th Harry Potter movie. And now we are reaching to the end of this series. I do think that every Harry Potter film has been a little excessive, but I do enjoy the films. And knowing which Harry Potter is the best and which is the worst. I can tell you that this one is not the best, but not the worst. Of course the romantic side of the story is great, but it isn't nessicary at this point of the series. The acting is great, and so is the cinematography and art-direction (possible Oscar nods in that area) HP6 is a good movie, and despite a poor adaptation, it heightens the expectations of great filmmaking for the next one.
