This movie was really amazing. Jet Li had some really good moves. Aaliah was a pretty good actress. The effects were amazing. The soundtrack is the best!!! And the story has a bit of a twist to it. It has basically NOTHING to do with Romeo and Juliet except that there are two families fighting and the kids love each other.

Very good movie! I can't wait to see Jet Li in another movie again! For all martial arts lovers out there: go see it! It's nice to hear Li speak a little English: very soft spoken. And the story was good too. I have to admit that some sentimental scenes were a bit akward, but hey, the action makes up for it. It's a smart pick for the movie theater, so go see it!

Amazing! Jet Li is just so so so COOL!!! He's cute and his moves are great!!! The story is excellent! I just loved the movie!!! If you don't see it, you are difinitely missing something BIG!!! Don't wait for the video, this is the kind of movie that should be seen in a big screen!!!

I loved this movie even though the ending is kind of predictable. Jet Li and Aaliyah make a nice couple on screen, I don't care that they are Chinese and black. The action is great but the soundtrack is even better. Don't miss this movie.

Jet Li's movies are usually spectacular, but this one is so lame, you should get paid to watch "Romeo must die", everything is bad, from the B-movie dialogue to the bad editing of the fights. 2 thumbs down... way down.

And in dah movie... there's not even Hong Kong... it's China... so don't say any bad with hk!!! I went to see this movie twice!! It's so cool... Anyway... Jet Li is better Jackie Chan... even Jackie fight better... coz Jackie's personaliy sucks... I don't like Jackie Chan anymore...

Well, the story was ok, but it didn't flow... But of course, Jet-Li kicked butt! The action was awesome, and it'll keep you excited all the way through the movie! Who needs a story as long as you have a whole bunch of cool guys trying to beat up each other? It's a real fun movie so check it out!

Overall, the movie was good, except for the storyline, it was too simple and predictable, the stupid X-rays to show us what happened inside the body of someone, when they died, and the use of special effects in some combat scenes, that's the last thing Jet Li needs to help him show off his martial arts skills! They should have used that chinesse woman on the bike, instead of Aaliyah, they would have made a better couple, and she can fight too! Why do people thing it's like The Matrix? It's nothing like it! If you don't feel like following a long storyline, this movie is for you, it doesn't have one! It's worth to see it for the action scenes. For those who haven't seen it yet, I suppose you didn't, since you're reading the critics, sorry for ruinning some parts of the film...I hate critics, they always kill the film! I'm done with my novel...

Ok for this style of movies but really no story and no good characters. This lacks in all the categories but is well shot and some of the sequences are very well done. Go see it with your friends and have a laugh it's fast paced and fun-- nothing more.

Jet Li has had stronger performances in most of his previous movies released from Hong Kong, but Li's foray into US markets is a good beginning with this pucture. Good characters, great music, intersting plot, and lots of Martial Arts action. A great movie to see (and hear) on the big screen.

I have seen Black Mask and this movie is much better... Jet Li is kickin' some ass in this movie! The action starts from the very beginnig of the movie... Unlike the previous movies the plot in this movie is better and more interesting... It's a must see movie!... I wouldn't mind to go see it a second time...!

This is the best movie I have seen this year. The action was incredible and the special effects were amazing. Jet Li was so good. DMX was cool and his songs were fantastic. The fight scenes were incredebly fun to watch. You have to go see it. I recommend it to all people who love action. Yeah Baby!!!

This was the best movies I've seen this year. Jet Li was really amazing with all of his fighting scenes. The story was a little weird, but everything else was perfect. I recommend this movie to all those who love action movies.

Ohh!!! I've never seen a movie filled with such action. I love it!!! Especially Jet Li. He's one heck of a good actor, but his Chinese accent makes his lines kind of hard to understand. Any who, I'm gonna go and see it again and again.

This film is old type of polt... revenge. People know that eventually bad guy will die and good will win... that is what makes this movie boring. Howver, Jet Li has very good acting in this film, except those special transparets effects make him " unrealistic".
