Romeo must die was a exiting movie especially with the war going on with the black and asian gangs! Also Jet Li gave an exilitering act of his best of all time!!!I Recommend to all of you people out there that likes martial arts and action! You must go see it because it's worth big time!

The storyline is terrible but there is some gems to be found in the fights, the visual innovations used and the attempts to break out of stereotypes. But what the chinese father did to his own son is very improbable considering chinese culture... [...]

Great movie! I mean Jet Li c'mon people. The plot was very good the best I've seen so far from Mrs. Li. It's not like Black Mask with no pint just fighting and no clue what's going on. Though what disapointed me was the action. Not enough. I mean not enough fights. Black Mask's plot sucked but there was a lot of fighting, Fist of Legend the plot was good enough and there was a lot lot of fighting. N-E ways it's a very good movie: I think I'll see it again.

Jet Li is the bomb. He has always been the man in his movies, even in Leathal Weapon 4 even though he gets a sad ending. Go see the movie (RMD), u won't regret it... they've got good soundtrack, GREAT actions, some Humour and a bit of boobie in the beginning :) but well, that's not the purpose of the movie. Jet RULES!

A superb movie in every way. The action sequences were killer but what surprised me, was the story, which was actually quite decent. I feel the surprise was Aaliyah. She is frickin HOT and can act quite well. The production values were excellent.

After seeing all sort of action movie from Jet Li himself, I would say that this movie is kinda not bad cause I was expecting more from him... he's definitely not into those type of romance situation for sure but we have to give him atleast some credits... Everything was predictable and sometime the scene are kinda like slow pace... The most disapointing moment was at the end... it could be much much much more better.

Jet Li is a king.... maybe not as Jackie Chan.... computers are Jet Li's friend.... you'll see! Anyway... I wanted action... I got action! It was... IN MY FACE!!!!!! I'm sorry, but the people who gave this movie more than a five, have never seen any of "other" work from overseas. This movie was a waste of time for Jet Li. There were not any good fight scenes, and any of the scenes that could have been good were ruined by the camera angles and special effects. If you want to see a good movie - go rent "Fist of Legend" only then can you begin to appreciate Li's skills.

I don't need to see another movie ever again: "Romeo Must Die" was seamless and everything that makes contemporary movies great was not simply covered but pimped off by professionals... the result was extraordinary. Required viewing.

This movie is a disgrace to the real fans of martial arts. Unfortunately, Hollywood still didn't come up with a real "Hong Kong" style martial art movie. Romeo must die ? what kind of a title is that ? Who is Romeo? There was hardly any reference to this name. And why must he die? A better title would have been: All bad guys must die. I will give it an 6 for the sound track. Good Crystal method if you like that type of thing. Annoying DMX though. Bon film a tous.

I was somewhat disappointed with this movie after all the hype and viewing the trailer. I'm an avid Jet Lee fan. I've seen many of Jet Li's chinese movies and his martial arts in "Romeo Must Die" were meager in comparison to his full potential. The scenes with Aliyah getting emotional and the whole romance was corny to say the least. I also thought that there could have been more special effects, although the X-ray scenes were cool. It was still a decent movie worth seeing, but I wouldn't give it a 10 like most people die.

It was okay.... lots of fake kung fu stuff... don't get your hopes too high up for this movie... It's lacking one on one pure real fighting... If you never saw any of his Hong Kong movies, you'll love it, although if you have already seen most... you'll know he can do better.

An excellent movie if you are a fan of the hong-kong martial arts genre and a great vehicule for Jet-li. Very well choreographed and shot. However, editing good be better, a drawback of the genre. All in all, a must see for martial arts fans.

This was the best movie I saw in long time. Its been a while since I've seen a good action movie. It has it all, action, music, a great story line, funny. If you want to see a martial arts movie and the master of martial arts then you better see "Romeo Must Die." ROMEO AND JULLIET HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER.
