I had better expectations for this movie. It was ok. Some parts were funny but other parts were just stupid.

Predictable -- but, that's exactly what we are expecting from this genre of movie! It delivers an excellent value for the dollar and will not disappoint fans of this type of romantic comedy - hits all the sweet spots!

I can't believe how many people actually liked this movie!!! Really, I am in shock. My friend (who is in her late 40's) and I both thought that it was horrible. I think I laughed once? I love a good chick flick, but this one didn't cut it at all. I was not convinced of these two characters ever getting together (or actors for that matter) and I couldn't find that one little spark that they needed. And I refuse to call this a comedy. I want my money back! And that beautiful Alaskan background... they unfortunately did not even shoot there.

Overall quite an entertaining movie with amazing view from Alaska. The story was a bit predictable between the two main characters. Still worth to see especially for Betty White who stole the show.

Seriously, I don't understand how this movie got such a good review. It wasn't bad, but I only laughed twice. See The Hangover if you want to laugh. The proposal should have gone straight to DVD.

Firstly, this movie was way too predictable, but then again when isn't a romantic comedy? Secondly, the chemistry between Sandra and Ryan was just not there. It had a clever story line, but could have been much more interesting and cleverly thought out. Luckily, Ryan Reynolds kept me entertained enough. Overall not a horrible movie, but not anything special.

A good cast, delivered stong performances despite a very poor script to work with. The humour was lame at best and the plot predictable. Best part of this movie for me was the Alaskan scenery. Wait for the DVD.

A chick flick of bad quality. Cheesy and rarely funny.. Bad acting from the male principal character. Sandra Bullock doing her best with many grimaces to save the poor scenario. Just good to watch on DVD or in the plane. Do not waste your money.

I almost died of laughing the first time I saw it. I loved the story and the jokes are LOL. It made me discover Sandra Bullock and now she is my favorite Actress. She is so good and she is as we call her america's Sweet heart. Ryan Reynolds was perfect. Just amazing... go see it NOW!!

Actually not bad. Not bad at all. Has a good story line, great acting and is pretty funny. I would say its 75% chick-flick as the story does not focus on what happens JUST to the female character and is not too emotional. Good movie to watch with your girlfriend.
