A TRUE EPIC! They don't make films this intelligent anymore. The story is as erudite and touching as the characters are poignant. Watching this movie is an experience of every emotion on the spectrum. No film has yet to equal its grandure. Films like Ben Hur teach humanity about the importance of faith and compassion. The film takes no religious sides; it aims, instead, at provoking deep spiritual feelings of brotherhood and enmity. The only regret I have about watching this film, is the sad realization that there may never be another film like it in my lifetime. William Wyler was a true genius!
