User's review

I never read the book, but I can tell very few liberties were taken with the movie. Because of this, the film suffers. It's more like a visual representation rather than a film you can enjoy. Too many things that would have been cool to do in a movie were not done. Throughout the entire film I regretted not having read the book. It's also very long, which wouldn't have bothered me if more time was spend devoloping the characters... Should've read the book first.
