Horrid. There is so much potential for this film, but Spielberg blows it. The script was pathetic: the dialoge, the story, it seemed like it was writen by an eight year old. No one on this film knew what they were doing. First, it started as a look at humanity, wheather or not a human could love something unhuman (of course we can, we know that already). Then it jumped into a twisted Pinochio story, then, without warning, we were in the Wizard of Oz. A very long and painful film. P.S. If you do subject yourself to this film, leave with a half hour left, the ending is ridiculous.
