If given a choice between this movie and death... I would choose death in a heartbeat. It wouldn't even be a choice. A true piece of Hollywood garbage.

After reviewing this page and seeing all the positive comments, it feels like my faith in humanity has been beaten with a 2x4 into a bloody puddle of goo. This movie is so trully god awful it must be one of the most tangible pieces of evidence that some people just deserve to die.

This one is definitely a renter! Danny Devito is amusing as the rich man who reverses the roles with the thief Martin Lawrence. Some funny parts but not enough to keep you from falling asleep. Next time let the girl choose the movie :)

Note: I found after the movie that the worst thing that could happened was watching this movie.

Good solid comedy, a good evening of comedy, an actor "duel" between Martin Lawrence and Danny DeVito.

Found it a bit of a slow start but the last 2/3 really picked up. Danny Devito is his typical mischievous self. Turned out to be a fun movie afterall.

Fun movie. Funny enough. Typical a bit of Martin Lawrence to play a burglar though. Same subject of this rubbery kinda thing over and over but he manages to make that forget 'cause this is a different scenario and all. Different story so it was alright. I wouldn't say wow for this one but if u got a time to kill and u watched all the best one already u can go see this one it's better than watching some wacko movie u don't even know the preview of. So there I said it it's medium for a comedy.

BEWARE: I think people praising this movie must be the promoters - who fear not enough sale for this movie. Simply put, there were atmost 2 scenes where the audience actually laughed. For the rest of it there was NOT A SINGLE SOUL even gigling. I liked his movie "Nothing To Loose" a lot, but this movie was just boring and total waste of cast. I wish I had watched "Nothing To Loose" again on VDO instead. Save your money and feed a poor perhaps. Peace! - SG

We are used to and have seen much better from Martin Lawrence. This film was not at all what I expected it to be. The scenes really do not follow in a cohesive sequence, which leads me to believe the editing was done in a hurry, and the movie itself as well. A few funny moments (a few)... But overall the film is long, predictable and boring. I'm surprised they managed to cast such talented actors with such a poor script and storyline...

It was a very good comedy. Martin Lawrence was so fun as usual. But don't expect too much.

It is a very good movie, but not better than Blue Streak. A really funny story, great acting & nice jokes.

Once again, Danny Devito and Martin Lawrence keep you laughing from beginning to end. As adversaries, they seem to bounce off each other effortlessly. John Leguizamo was perfectly cast here, showing his comedic flexibility as he plays one costumed character after another. I saw this movie with my 12 year old daughter, and she laughed as hard as I did. This one is recommended.

If you're looking for some Shakspearian comedy or something in the vein of "Forrest Gump", look somewere else. But if you're looking for some good humour, this is da bomb! Martin Lawrence, as the usual thief is funny as ever, and Danny DeVito is so funny, I could help myself from laughing. By the way, if you go and see that movie, look for the scene with the sign translator and the part when Danny DeVito is in front of the Senators (well, it's the same... but you'll see). Definitely a must see!!! PS: My girlfriend didn't really like the movie, but only because she thought that it would be an "action packed adventure", but it's really a typical thief movie... so don't expect too much guns and car races.
