Reasonably funny. But I think I enjoyed the serious message of the movie more than the comedy - "dumb blondes aren't as dumb as they seem". It really reminded me a lot of "Clueless". And I think that like Alicia Silverstone in Clueless, Reese Witherspoon does a great job of making a somewhat over-the-top character seem realistic and sympathetic. She does a good job of portraying the dual nature of the character - shallow and materialistic on one hand, but with an underlying sensitivity and intelligence.
