I thought it was a very unique movie. It's one of those films that you go see when you just want to relax, forget about what is happening in the world, and just have a good laugh. Ben Stiller plays a different that usual role, yet it's still a winner in my books! If you're a stiller go for it, if you're not, in all honesty, you may not appreciate it. Enjoy the movie:).

Great satire on the modelling industry. Good with a few references to a couple classic flicks (Rocky), without being loaded with them.

Listen, I'm not one of those people who hates stupid movies. I LOVE stupid movies. I thought Corky Romano, for example, was great. And I usually like Ben Stiller. But this movie is just awful. Most of the jokes fall flat, the comic timing is terrible - this movie managed to elicit a few half-hearted chuckles from me, but no all-out belly laughs. If you insist on seeing it anyway, at least wait until it gets to the cheap theatres or the video store.

I went into the theater anticipating yet another disappointing movie. Instead I found this to be a funny, and overall entertaining movie experience. The jokes are silly, sometimes just plain ridiculous, but they go well with the stupidity of the characters. I laughed particularly hard at a lot of really absurd jokes, but not everyone's into that. Fun watch if you're into this sort of absurd satire.

This guy isn't hot, has less brain cells than the blondest of blonds, but that's what makes it funny.

When Ben Stiller is not acting like a normal person, no good can come from the movie. Zoolander was bad, just bad. It had a good cast, I knew what I was getting into when I got my ticket and so did my girlfriend Lisa but we still went to see it, luckily the film cut out and we were able to get free passes. Wil Ferrell was somewhat funny in this movie but he couldn't save this film himself and Ben Stiller didn't do his part either. I just have one more question... Why was Fabio in this movie!, if the movie wasn't bad enough. I was going to give this a 4 out of pitty, but with the addition of Fabio I'm bringing it down to a 3.

First of all, Ben Stiller is great on every characters such as: "There's something about Mary", "Meet the parents" and also immitation of Tom Cruise in the SNL. Then there's FH1, I was a bit suprized that some celebrities like No Doubt was in the movie! It is way absurd, but I think it make us see comedy in another angle. Mill Jovovich wasn't the same, anyways, not like the L'oreal commercial we used to watch on TV. Is it to make fun of supermodels? In someways, yes! LoL. But still, Mr. Zoolander is our hero. I found it original, and I want to be in the minority! If this movie resembles with another, I could say the opposite. If you don't like exagerated comedy movie, maybe this is not for you. Well I liked it! I like "Blue Steel". Et je n'ai pas vraiment le temps d'y tapper en français, sauf que... j'ai seulement à dire: Si vous voulez un différent style de comédie, allez voir Zoolander! Ben Stiller est irrésistible! avec son "Blue Steel".

I had low expectations of this film going in to, and they weren't met. Obviously it's stupid, but at most times too stupid to find funny. I would have given it a 1 out of 10, but Owen Wilson (who had the only funny lines) earned it an extra point. Save your money.

This film was as stupid as it was funny. I loved it! You can't always expect to challenge your intellect at a comedy. Sometimes, stupid is funny. Well, this film was intelligently stupid, because it takes imagination to think up the foolhardy scenes and quips you see in this film. I would recommend this film for adults more than I would for kids, however. I found some of the material in the film a trifle too mature for children under twelve.

Zoolander is so funny. A definite academy award winner with academy award winning performance by Ben Stiller and Will Ferrel. Deeply moving, I totally related to the dramatic significance. I couldn't stop crying, it hit home (punch heart). I recommend it to Hell's angels, those with dementia and presidents-gone-wrong. Family fun for everyone. Lots of nudity and swears. A go-getter film. Gemeni-award winner.

Bo-o-o-oring! Well, there's one scene that is almost funny. That is when Zoolander's male model roomies immolate themselves in a freak accident - viz. , one of these freaks lights up a cigarette in the middle a gasoline fight. If someone gives you a free ticket you can safely leave after this scene.

This movie is REALLY stupid!! REALLY!! But some people like that kind of humour, and I'm among their ranks! Though some stuff is really over the top, I guess you'll have a good time if you don't think too hard (just like those models! ;-)).

Too many jokes were used on how they were too stupid to do anything. It was very funny but there was too much room for improvement. What made the movie funny was Ben Stiller, always great to see in a movie.

Used to be the great slapstick comedians could make you laugh in anticipation by just appearing on the screen. Example Harold Lloyd, Chaplin, Abbot & Costello, even the Three Stooges. Now I look at the antics of Mike Meyers, Carey (when he quits acting and fools around) and the latest edition Stiller, and cringe in anticipation. The antics are so banal and stupid that they are NOT FUNNY, merely boring and so it goes with this latest piece of rubbish. No cinematic value at all.

I loved this movie!!! If you are a fan of "MAD TV" or "SNL" this is a must-see for you. You must be the type to lean back, admit the stupidity of things in life to yourself and be able to laugh at the most eccentric things. I am the type of person that loves to laugh and the kind of humour in this movie was absolutely HILARIOUS!! "There's more to life than being really, really, really good looking" - said the male model himself.

I had very low expectations coming in to this one and maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much. I laughed really hard. Ten of us went together and we were cracking up the whole time. Sometimes movies are for nothing more than a bit of frivolous entertainment. Not everything has to provoke deep festering thoughts. Zoolander was a really fun escape, and made for an enjoyable Friday evening.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Although it's difficult to make the fashion world seem goofier than the fashion world makes itself seem, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson do it with flashes of moronic brilliance in ''Zoolander. ''Sashaying across the screen like the love child of ''Austin Powers'' and ''The Jerk,'' it's an irresistibly brainless comedy in which Stiller plays a male model so dumb that when a woman tells him she was bulimic, he squints, stares, and gasps, ''You can read minds?''

Zoolander is a very..... shall I say interesting movie. Actually it's really dumb, it's plain stupid, I mean I figured it would be good and funny because of Ben Stiller but it was pathetic, I mean it was all about "male modeling" and uhh I'm sorry but I would never ever go see it again!

Zoolander is a bit thin, but there are enough classic comedic segments to make the film worth a look. Although Ben Stiller is the writer, director, producer and star... It is really Owen Wilson that steals the show. He is definitely one of the best of the current crop of young comedic actors.

Went on cheapy tuesday, and I wish that I got my 5 bucks back!! The worst movie I have seen in a long time!!! I think Ben Stiller is cool, but he was trying too hard to make this movie good. Meh. Good movie overall, but rent it instead. Don't expect the most out of a Ben Stiller movie, like some of these other people who gave it a bad review. I gave it a 7 because it's still funny and I wasn't totally dissapointed (I didn't expect a 'movie of the year' in the first place).

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Before "Zoolander," I found Ben Stiller extraordinarily funny in everything he did. He has his moments in this film, but heand the movie itselffalls flat. Still, there are some extraordinary moments, such as the gas-spraying scene, which admittedly, is one of the funniest things I can remember. Believe it or not, this one scene is reason enough to rent this film on tape; but avoid the movie at the theatre, unless you enjoy wasting your money, and your time.

This is one seriously nice movie. I was going in hoping it woudn't be the type of stupid humor as in Scary Movie 2 and such, and I was glad it wasn't! (At least in my opinion...) Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson make one nice duo together. :) The soundtrack of this movie, THE SOUNDTRACK, is really INCREDIBLE. I just LOVED their picks of oldies! Best thing is how all the songs fit so nicely with the movie at those very moments. In any case, I'd strongly suggest this movie to anyone looking for a good laugh! Definitely worth the price I payed to go see it on a sunday evening. Ps. I can't stop myself, I must say, that Christine Taylor, with those glasses, is one darn pretty lady. =P

I can't believe how someone would like this movie. I mean I like ben stiller, but this movie sucks! I didn't laugh at all, the plot had no point to it, and Ben Stiller's impression of a gay model didn't make me laugh at all... AVOID AT ANY COST!!!

Absurdity, or more like idiotic - are adjectives that best describe this movie. If you thought Top Secret or Austin Powers were absurd, hold on to your hats folks, this one takes the whole concept one step further. The entire gas hose scene was worth the price of the movie if you're into the genre. Jerry Stiller is brilliant as usual and Owen Wilson was perfect for the part he played. Major disapointment was Will Ferrell (he was funny the first time in Austin Powers - that's it). And Jovovich isn't even eye candy anymore (like she was in The 5th Element). If you liked Austin Powers, you'll probably like this as well.

It was like Austin Powers for the fashion industry. Sometimes juvenile, sometimes surprisingly clever, always funny. Ben Stiller is hysterical, so is Owen Wilson, Jerry Stiller and Will Ferrell (who happens to be the funniest thing to come out of SNL since the eighties). Some scenes were instant comedy classics. I bet there will be a sequel within two years.
