User's review

I will need to see it again before thinking about a 10 but a 9? Definitely! This new Tarantino film has all the good Tarantino parts. Great story, great acting, great dialogue, great directing. As soon as you've watched 5 minutes of the first scene, you know who wrote that. Some scenes do feel long, but hey, QT was trying to make us feel the war and it lasted a long long time to the occupied. So 2 1/2 hours is not long at all. Imagine living for years with the fear of getting caught hiding fugitives. Years! It's only right to build the suspense properly. Anyways, I hadn't seen any previews prior to watching it and was pleasantly surprised. This is no Pulp Fiction but it's QT's best movie since for sure. I really appreciated the French and German parts as it only added to the ambience. Great job Quentin and keep them coming!
