Black Hawk Down [2002] Movie Reviews on CinemaClock

I usually hate to see those american war movies "a la saving private Ryan and behind enemy lines" even though I love war movies in general. What usually disturbs me are the cheesy lines, combined with bad acting and a totally propagandist storyline. But in this movie, There is, as a lot of critics say no real storyline. Which is exactly why I loved this movie. Instead of having to face pro-american propaganda for one hour and only getting an hour of real war-movie scenees, we only get the good part (which is extremely well done, acted and filmed) while there are only a few minutes a bad story-telling at the begining and the end. If you love war-movies, this is for you as this movie is no more than a great war movie, and it doesn't pretend to be more.
