User's review

Superb new film by Joel and Ethan Coen. Shot in stunning black & white photography and film-noir style, The Man Who Wasn't There is one of their strongest efforts to date. Many of the familiar Coen Brother themes are present, such as "average-joe caught up in circumstance above-and-beyond his control" and "crazy schemes gone awry" mixed with snappy dialogue and sharp comedy. One of the year's best films.
