[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] 10? How on earth could this movie get a 10? Episode II is definitely better than Episode I, but not that much better. Attack of the Clones is still dumb. It dosn't make any sense. Example: if Anakin and Padme shouldn't let themselves fall in love, why do they put themselves in as many romantic places thinkable? As well, the whole love story was so sappy and cliche."I don't like sand. It's rough and irritating, not like you. You're soft and smooth." Excuse me while I vomit. That's... well... that's too corny. The acting is still done in that anoying robotic monotone that drove me up the wall in Episode I. Yoda still sucks (bring on the death threats) He doesn't work as a CGI. He needs to be a puppet. The new Yoda doesn't have any of the charm that made him so likable in Episodes IV, V and VI. Lucas doesn't even try to give Yoda any character. He's simply assuming people will accept this empty, boring Yoda. The lightsaber fight at the end was it for me. I didn't know whether to laugh, cry or walk out of the theater. It was so stupid. He throws down his cane and starts flipping around like a freekin' frog! No. No. NO! That's what Lucas is doing with all the characters. He's not trying to make us like or know them. It's like he's assuming we'll just swallow what he feeds us because we know the story and we've seen the characters' future. But there's more to a movie than a story (and Lucas even falls short in this department) At least JarJar has only a small role in the film. This alone bumps Episode II up from a 4. For the severely brainwashed, Episode II will be everything you could imagine. It looks really cool and all the characters are there. But for those who still have a independant brain cell in their head, Episode II won't cut it. Go see Spiderman instead.
