I thought this movie was decently entertaining, I never played any of the video games so when I went to see it I wasn't going in with big expectations and I was very surprised at how entertaining this was. My friend is a die hard fan of the video games and he was really pissed off with the plot but hey like I said I am not a fan of the games so I couldn't really tell if they left something out or not. Great movie check it out.

It was a great movie, but the fact that it was more of a spin off of the games greatly decreased my liking (and the liking of other fans) of the movie series.

I love the way the company made the movie so HOT w/ the Graphics and the Gore of the movie. This movie always keep me guessing and wanting more and more ACTION. PS. I hope your creating a HOT part Two of the continueing of Resident Evil 1.

Firstly I'd like to talk about the first resident evil man that was alright but that did not base it on the game im a big fan of the resident evil games and they were totally cool when they the movie it had nothing to about the S. T. A. R. S team the Spencer mansion and the Tyrant which the first game had. RE2 was better but there is no William Birkin no leon no clair just jill and Alice and the question is who is Alice? She is a made up character that is what she.

I put off watching this movie because I couldn't stand the trailers. But it is awesome! It was suspenseful and action packed. The movie gets right into it from the first scene and keeps it coming for 100 minutes.

This movie was awesome, the mattythebatty dude said there was NOT ENOUGH ZOMBIES!! There were plenty of zombies in the sewer drains part. Zombies are the main, scary character in the movies. It's really irritating, every movie maker likes to put zombies in movies. There are never any other monsters, no frankensteins, no mummies, and no vampires, except for Vanhelsing. The zombie killing dog was pretty cool though, the way it tore that guy up. The guys blood was all over. I homeschooled, so I always go on the internet and find out a lot of stuff, I usually get done at eleven or twelve o'clock. Resident Evil Outbreak, the game, isn't very good. It's like playing gauntlent on n64. The creators picked where you have to go, I'd like to choose wich hall to go to. And the gun, you can't even point it where you'd like to. I'm eleven, call me buddy. I can get you cheats for any game, just email me, or I have a fax machine.

Very good movie with lots of actions! BUT... The big problem of it is the lack of history! What the hell is MIlla doing in that movie and where the hell are Jill and Chris. Ihope the second one will be a lot better I cant wait for it!

This was quite a decent zombie movie. It had a lot of style coupled with its action. The acting wasn't great, but what horror has great acting? For a video game to movie it is awesome, Final Fantasy flopped, I am quite eager to see the Silent Hill film though.

I liked the movie so much I bought it in stores the 1st day it came out! I am so excited the second movie is comming out(Resident Evil: Apocalypse) I recomend everyone to go see this one if its as good or even better than the 1st one.

Damn! Resident Evil kicked ass! That was an awesome movie! Too bad they didnt show a scene with nemesis, but it is one of the coolest movies I've seen. They didnt have S. T. A. R. S. Team, but they will have Jill Valentine in the sequel as I hear. The sequel is called Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I saw the preview of it and it's kinda weird because it was talking about a lotion for people who want to stay looking young. The lotion was a product of the Umbrella Corp. Obviously. Over all, the movie was great, Milla and Michelle did a great job. And I cant wait for the sequel which comes out next year. I dont know exactly when next year, but I hope the latest would be late February because im becoming very impatient.

The movie was better than the game. And Michelle Rodriguez was awesome. Man any one who likes a good horror/ action movie better rent this one. I thought it was great. I was so mad that Rain had to die she was awesome.

I waited, waited, and waited some more finally Resident Evil hit theaters and well... it is the BEST game based movies made!!! The thing I like the most is that it used a new story but it still connects to the game. Unlike other movies (that will remain names) "cough STREET FIGHTER" that just made a new and crappy story line. I recommend this movie to any RD fan or anyone who likes a good survival movie.

I loved the movie. I liked both of the girls who play in it and the commentary was so stinkin' funny. I always watned to play in a movie like that... and I was thinking... if you need someone for the sequal (if you have one) then I'd like to at least try out for the part and audition. I can speak a really good English Accent too. I think that girl who played the Red Queen's voice in it did very well. Buh bye now. And Michelle and Milla y'all are awesome!! The people who played the zomi's and the guys in it were awesome to.

I AM A VIDEO GAME PLAYER. I am also a 16 year old girl and a very critical person as well. I have read some of you guys critics and you really dont know the meaning of what a good movie is. You compare the movie to the game and say the movie sucked but hey they arent going exactly by the game because you would get bored. I would have to say that they gave it a good shot if you are trying to make it like the game. If there was no GAME what would you think about the movie AWESOME right? So dont compare to the game plus Milla Jovovich is a great actress and I would have to say she fits the part and I cant wait for the sequal!!!

The movie really had nothing to do with the first game but I think it is going to when Resident Evil: Apocalypse comes out in mid 2004, it's going to have Jill Valentine in it and,... Nemesis, as you people might of heard on the end of the first movie, when the dudes in the white suit things go "Put him in the Nemesis program". The next one is going to be great. It's going to be a number 10!

YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! Anyone who's ever played the game will love this movie! Of course, the movie did not incorporate the S. T. A. R. S. (hopefully they'll be in the sequel) , there are so many camera shots that are almost EXACTLY like shots from the video game. By the way, Milla Jovovich is hot. Anyone who hasn't played the game, it's still a MAD AWESOME flick to see... because Milla Jovovich is hot.

I think the first Resident Evil movie was great. A real thriller. The special effects were awesome, but too bad they couldn't put special effects of the acting, which wasn't so hot. But I have faith in the second Resident Evil. I hear Claire is played by that girl from Jeepers Creepers. I forget her name, sorry. But, Yeah, more zombies, lickers, hunters, TYRANT (which they didn't have in the whole movie, while it was a very important part) , and accual CHARACTERS FROM THE GAME. I wonder if they can squeeze a little bit of Mr. X (Claire's arch B. O. W. Enemy) in there? I hope so!

Resident Evil was the best movie ever! Michelle Rodriguez kicked ass, just like she does in all of her films! Milla Jovovich was awesome! They did a great job of bringing the game to life, and they did it so well with the little money they had.

Well, I really liked the movie a lot. I hope there is a sequel coming, but I have been looking everywhere now and can't seem to find a single word about Resident Evil 2, I hope they bring out. Hopefully the more older people went looking to the movies to and then they will probably make a sequel, but if the first 1 wasn't that much proffiteble then they aren't gone make a sequel, I treully hope they do make it greets from belgium.

What a movie. It's a must see for all people that likes the Resident Evil series. Of course the movie is kind of like a mix between Resident Evil 1 and 2. All the monsters were so cool including the Licker. To bad they didn't have charactures like wesker. Also it was stupid they didn't show us nemisis just his shadow.

I have seen RE the film and I think it is the best film ever. It could of done with some more zombies but it was great. Michelle Rodriguez was brillient in this film just like she is in all of her films. Milla was also fantastic. I have played all the games and I think that they are all brillient and I still play them now. I also still watch the film. I have seen it loads of times and I dont get board of it. SO BRING ON RESIDENT EVIL 2!!!

Hey Resident Evil is what I thrive off of. I've got all the games books and collectables. So take it from me RENT THIS MOVIE OR BUY IT TODAY!! So there wasn't enough Zombies and B. O. W. S (bio-organic weapons) or monsters but all first movies aren't as good as the sequals. IF YOU THINK THIS MOVIE IS HORRIBLE THAN BITE YOUR TOUNGE AND THINK ABOUT HOW ITS ONLY SETTING UP FOR THE SECOND MOVIE!!!

I think the sequel will be so much better as we'll get to see more Zombies and better mutant enemies! That was a problem with the first, NOT ENOUGH zombies!! It's really a 8 or 9, but I gave it 10 for the effort that was put in by the director. I understand that director and the two stars of the movies are fans of the RE Series and it really shows. I also loved the Matrix moves Alice pulled on the zombie dogs! This was a perfect RE movie and I can't wait for the part II to come out in theaters and onto DVD.

Absolutely, one of the best movies I've seen all year. I've been playing the video games since they first came out and I thought the movie was a perfect installment to the RE storyline. When the movie first came out in theaters, I watched it the day it opened and three more times after that. At first I thought the movie was going to be based on the first video game (RE1) , but it became even better by introducing a new story. Some people weren't expecting that however, I thought that's what made it a brilliant movie. The story takes place before all the other accidents, introduces a new villian (The Red Queen) , and adds new elements to the bio-weapon licker (that being the fact it can mutate) making it a more menacing creature, and of course what all game fans will love, the identity of the scariest villian (Nemesis) and how he came to be that creature. Then I thought the ending was brilliant, having Alice survive that whole nightmare only to wake up in an even worse disaster (the famous incident in Raccoon city) Everything about the movie was fantastic and I sure hope they make a sequel. I agree with others when they say that the sequel will probably be even better than the first movie because it will involve a larger story plot (Biohazard in Raccoon city) and is going to have Nemesis. Just the thought of seeing that big guy on the big screen makes me impatient for the sequel. I hope Milla Jovovich stars in it again too. If she does, then that will introduce a more emotional story between Alice and Nemesis (for those of you who have seen, you know what I'm talking about)
