Peeps, is there any point in reviewing this movie? Check it. Does anyone CARE what, like, anyone else thinks about LOTR? You either just say "Yeah, I thought it was a 10 too..." or "Oh, they just don't GET it, they didn't read the books, or maybe read them TOO MUCH. Anyway they're morons..." or maybe you say, "I DON'T get it" but all the people who GET it don't really, like, care what you think. Because they're basically cult members and, dudes, they'll just smirk to themselves knowing you're not going to be getting on the boats with the Elves and heading off into the mist to Avalon or Valhalla or wherever the heck it is Elves go but they know they are because they're all like true believers. So, what's the point? What's the point? --Hoody.

This movie is the best that has ever been made Peter Jackson must have past every grade To make such a movie without any pain He made it through thunder and lightning and rain. Thousands of people hundreds of days made this movie possible in millions of ways. The actors were perfect for all of thier parts and the movie was perfect for all of our hearts. Lots money was spent and lots money was made, it's not over yet, they still have to be saved. From all of orcs, by all of the brave let the elf and the man together help save!

Excellent... I could never get through the books, but this movie really makes me ponder greater issues of life... and good versus evil, which seems simplistic often, but might very well be at the root of our existence in the physical plan. The Lord of the Rings movies have a depth rarely seen in other movies of its genre.

Absolutely giddy with Excitment! That is how I felt when I walked into the theatres, AND when I walked out. This Movie does NOT fail anyone's expectations! If you're looking for romance, action, or a little comic relief, This movie will provide it all! It's even better than the first!

The Two Towers was a good movie, one that must be seen on the large screen. I am far from being a diehard Tolkien reader... I think I last read his book (s) in high school (15 years ago) However, for good entertainment value, go see this movie. I'll admit, the first LOTR was excellent... I walked out of that one ready to buy the DVD. I wanted to watch it over and over again. The second one was very good, but not as much "on the tip of your seat" action. I guess the last installment of LOTR will wrap it all up and be the best of the three. At least I'm hoping!

Very nice movie... at least the ending was more appropriate than the first movie, which left you into a cliffhanger. The graphics are well done and the effects aren't too farfetch or unrealistic.

This is different from Fellowship, but keep in mind it's NOT a sequel. I've explained that to so many people, they just don't get it. The movie is great, the scenery is unreal and the music is divine. It's not the just the story that makes this movie great it's every little detail and the package put together. I'm counting the minutes until Return of the King!!!

This movie certainly did the book justice. The Ents were amazing - it brought them to life better than I expected, and Golem was exactly as I imagined him. The effects were incredible. Tolkein would be proud.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] GRRRR... if you're reading this you have read 190+ other reviews. I am a devoted fan of the Trilogy, Silmarilion, etc... You know that there have been significant changes. I have to agree that the WORST change is that to Faramir. Utterly disappointing. The whole point of his character is that "I would not take this thing (the ring) , even if it lay by the higway." He is not Boromir, yet Jackson sees fit to alter Faramir. Hoom doom! The other twists and turns are manageable: the change in the Ent Moot (still makes me go grrr a little!!!) , WHO saves the morning at Helm's deep, loss of Dunharrow etc - just like the road to Buckleberry Ferry. These switches don't affect the characters too much or the story too significantly. Ultimately, Helm's Deep is won and Isengard was ruined. But by wholey changing Faramir's basic traits - TAKING THEM TO OSGILIATH? - he has made a good and just man just another Boromir. AS FOR ARWEN - Relax people! It's good that she is there. Her inclusion adds the romance and love that is missing in the book. It is good to see the history of their courtship. (Besides, Hollywood needs to have a love interest and the expanded emphasis on her allows that to be shown) Smeagol is awesome and the Ents too. As earlier mentioned - the hiccough of a failed entmoot would have been easier to swallow if it did not follow the change of boromir... er Faramir. The effects are awesome and all is well. It is a good (not great) analysis of the Two Towers and I will see it a second time just to enjoy the MOVIE, not bothering with the plot twists as much. GO SEE IT, but be cautious. P S - People have also been snivelling about the ommision of key points: "The voice of Saruman" and "Shelob's lair" -- LOOK AT WHERE THEY ARE AT THE MOVIE'S END!!! Frodo and Sam are just approaching the Crossroads and Gollum has just gotten the idea of Shelob; Helm's Deep is just finished and 'the boys' are just moving TOWARDS Isenguard. Both major scenes will happen next movie, indeed they must. Be patient.

This movie ISN'T only for sci-fiction, tolkein, Orlando, fantasy, or literature fans. NO WAY!! I had never read the books before I saw this movie (but after seeing the first one I read them all and their great!) , I generally hate science fiction and honestly who ever heard of Orlando Bloom before this movie?! But I still looooooved it... it's the best movie EVER!! There's something about it... the actors, the setting, the directing, the soundtrack... EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!! Seriously go see this movie!! The worst that can happen is that you don't like it... but what are the chances?!?!?

Now, I just began to watch Lord of the Rings about a month ago. At first, I thought it was really quite stupid. Then, I watched the first movie. [...] AWESOME!!! A masterpiece it was. Than, with a friend, I went to Lord of The Rings, the Two Towers, and it was even BETTER!! I loved Gollum/Smeagol and his split personality. I've just started reading the books, starting with The Hobbit, and I LOVE IT SO FAR. I CANT WAIT UNTIL RETURN OF ThE KING comes out. Oh yeah, and Legolas is [...] SWEET!! I GIVE THIS MOVIE A 1000000 ETC.

Falls a little short of the first one, but considering how much had to be covered (three seperate storylines) , I think that Peter Jackson did an amazing job. But to be honest, I went mainly because I was hoping that they would show more of Orlando Bloom (which they did!!! Total happiness!!!) Other than scenes with Orlando, and the battle of Helm's Deep, the rest of the movie was so so. Would recommend for hard-core LOTR fans and obsessed Orlando Bloom fans like me.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is an amazing movie. I have already seen it five times, and I want to see it again. Gollum is perfect! He's just as I would've imagined him from reading the books. And Orlando Bloom! He is definitely the hottest guy on the planet. He's also a great actor. The visual effects are superb, and the acting is great, especially by Ian McKellan, Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom and Elijah Wood. I would strongly recommend this movie to all who enjoy adventure and fantasy.

Though it doesn't follow the book down to the finest details it's still amazing. I've seen it three times and I'd see it again if I could. It's a must-see movie. If you thought the Fellowship was amazing, just wait until you see this. Its about a billion times better. Tons of action and some really cool parts with Legolas and Aragorn.
