Amazing movie - some say "predictable plot" but that's part of the drama for me. You hope, in this day and age that it would end differently, but you knew it can't. Beautifully shot - the colours of autumn matching the outfits and hair; the maze like house going from warm to very cold 50's sparseness; Julianne Moore and Dennis Haysbert were out of this world - anyone who has loved a doomed love will relate. I also liked that while Dennis Quaid's character was a "victim of his time", he was also not absolved... regardless of where you are, you can still do the right thing. Or can you?
