In what characterstics was MOULIN ROUGE better? Most of the performances in CHICAGO were fabulous (although Latifah was overrated) , the story was as good as you're going to find in a musical, and the sets and cinematography made for a stunning picture. Richard Gere can't sing but he still carried off the part. Zellweger and Zeta-Jones showed all around talent in superb performances (Goldie Hawn?! You've got to be joking) This has been a good year for movies but CHICAGO was a refreshing change from all the turkeys that have come out in the past few years.
