I don't know if it was the mood I was in when I watched Finding Nemo or not but, I agree with everyone else who thinks it isn't as good as Toy Story, A Bug's Life or Monsters Inc. After seeing those movies, I was expecting more from Pixar and was *really* looking forward to seeing Finding Nemo, like other people. So, it was a bit disappointing to say the least. Colourful and visually appealing of course and the comparisons to life as a fish in the sea, etc. Is well done, but... I have to say that it is a bit *too* cutesy (and I like cute!) for me and in my opinion, more for kids, even though there is some scary/sad parts. I also grew tired of the storyline and found that it drags... it seems like the search for Nemo goes on forever! Dory, the fish Ellen Degeneres does the voice of (and I like Ellen Degeneres) and who accompanies Marlin on his search for his son doesn't help on the annoying scale in making it more tolerable either. Finding Nemo does have some other redeeming qualities though; it teaches some good lessons/values; to have a "CAN DO" attitude, never be afraid of anything and for parents, to let their children make their own mistakes and learn from them.
