User's review

This is a picture that is rather short on dialogue and long on camera movement, shot and angle to skillfully and thoughtfully establish the theme and mood of the picture. There is a lot of quiet action in the film, quiet action that reveals character or foretells how the story will unfold. The characters are interesting and complex and the director superbly captures the complexity of the relationship between the main actors and their shared alienation within a very foreign culture and in their own personal lives. Interesting and beautiful film for the serious filmgoer.
