Wonderland is a must see movie. I was surprised there was not much sex scenes (being about the john holmes n all) but overall amazing!! You will not be bored. Bravo!

Awesome Movie! Cox does an incredible job telling the story of the dark side of Holmes' life after his reign as "The king". Hands down one the best movies of the year!

I saw this movie the other night, and I thought it was incredible. I loved the camera shots and the directing in this movie so M.c.. The plot was intense, I wasn't bored once through the whole thing. It was a bit gory but, I loved how it had all the scenes with them doing drugs, and actually showing them doing it.

I liked the way they inter-wove the different perspectives of the main characters. The story told in that fashion made it more believable and a true mystery.

This movie took a bold look at a not only a man but an environment that went from "rising" and energetic to an almost atrophic state due to lifestyle provided by drugs. It has the crowd rooting for the bad guy which is hard to do. It is an overall success and director james Cox has succeeded.

I went and saw "Wonderland" with Val Kilmer as John Holmes (aka Mr. Johnny Wadd) last night. Cool flick. It takes place in 1981 so I could relate on all levels. 1981 was a cool year for me as a teenager at the tender age of 18yrs. A punk hard rocker with hi-octaine beer blood... he even drove the same car I had that year... my first car... Blue Chevy... anyaways... The movie score was perfect. Who ever picked the songs must have been synced into my hardrive. Hazzel's Maggotbrain- The Nuge's Stranglehold- BadCo's Shooting Star - Iggy Pop's Street Walkin Cheetah... Cool tracks! You would think that a movie about "the" porn king, would have a couple scenes, about14 inch money shot. Nope. Other than the opening scene when he quickly spreads his love with the girlfriend in bathroom with a suitcase full of cocaine, this story is mostly about, the true story of his coke addiction in LALA land. Which apparently led him, to brutally murdering four people up in Laurel Canyon. The likes of which no one seen, since Manson murders at the time. I'm not sure what Holmes was like (never saw any of his movies) so I don't know if Kilmer nailed it, but he does make you forget that it's Kilmer and you fall into this seedy life of some crazed out cocaine baser. Gritty-dirty-and a bad mofo slaughter scene near the end, that's as violent as Scareface... if not more. I really liked this movie... my only neg comment would be the casting... a little off with Kudlow and a few other supporting cast. C Dragon.

Pretty good. I was suprised that a movie about the legendary porn star John Holmes had so little to do with sex. There was not even a gratuitious breast shot. Johns decent into his own personal hell made me feel as dirty he looked. This movie is not for everyone but it was good.

Val Kilmer is awesome!!! Every role he takes on shows another depth and level of his enormous talent. He definitely deserves an Oscar for this portrayal!!!
