Wonderfully engaging film. I am not one of Billy Crystal's fans per se but his nervous banter in this film is finely placed. Robert Deniro is a landmark in the movie world and does a great job but I can't seem to ever believe that he is ever truly crying. He looks like he's just been crying all of the time for that matter so this role I think would have been better played by someone like James Gandolfini or Federico Castelluccio. THe stressed out wife (L. Kidrow) plays herself so, not a great choice except for eye appeal. All in all though a great dialogue, great plot and great entertainment but have a second movie handy so that you can make it a better evening as it does lack a certain sincerity, most specifically during the Billy Crystal as Consierge. Rather lame.

If you look at the review I have for Analyze That, you will see that I called this a masterpiece. This movie is a classic comedy. Definitely a must see.

Very funny. Robert De NIro is great. Billy Crystal on an other hand is too stiff for this movie... well maybe it made it funnier.

The movie... boring doesn't even begin to describe my feelings, it's sad really 'cause I really wanted to like it. It's like The Sopranos, but without the edge or the good writing or the interesting parts or... well, you get the point.

Bill Crystal can do better than this. And Robert Deniro in a comedy role? They don't work well together. It was a fluffy film not worth a theatre ticket and I'd wait to see it on T.V.

C'mon ppl I don't see Robert Deniro doing comedy. Not his style. It's not him. Just doesn't go together along that much. He must be in drama, action something like that. I guess he's getting old so he wanted to try something like this before retiring maybe but hmm ya sure nice try. I didn't like it that much but it was ok I guess...

This film was incredible. The humor did not stop throughout the movie. I never thought that Robert Deniro could make me laugh so much. Crystal and Deniro were perfect and they played there roles to perfection. This movie is for everyone and take my advise you will not be disappointed.

This is nice movie, easy-watching. DeNiro plays a small-brained gangster, and this role shows he is the good actor! I don't think you will be sorry for your time if you see this movie! It will entertain you. Stupid, as all comedies, but the most entertaining.

Well, it's still a nice movie. Worth seeing at the cinema but still missing some punch. I like movies with some changes in it, things you don't expect. This movie has a few of them...but that's it. Too few. I laughed a bit. Overall: Entertaining but expect to laugh your head off.

Sorry, but this was definitely not as great as some folks have made it out to be. Sure there were some funny bits, but in all, the movie just stretched and I found myself bored. Crystal is great, De Niro is De Niro. There's no excuse for Kudro. She shouldn't have been in the movie.

This movie was so good it made me want to join the mob... or maybe get a therapist... whatever comes first. It was hilarious, surprisingly witty comedy that made you laugh and cry at the same time. No wait, that wasn't me crying, it was Robert DeNiro!

The acting is good, but the story leaves a little to be desired. It's quite predictable, and can get tedious at points. The film has several hilarious parts to it, however, so it's worth the money.

Funny movie. Crystal gives a good show especially one scene where he made me almost piss in my pants laughing. It's not the best movie I ever saw, but it made me laugh.

I chose that movie after reading the critics here, and let me tell you they are right! One of the best movies of the year so far. Funny, entertaining, great actors, I love De Niro! It's a must. Go there with a friend and you'll laugh together all the way through. Enjoy!

We laughed, we cried, we bought the t-shirt! DeNiro is outstanding. Ramis brings a unique story and tempers it with some outstanding humor. A must see!

Robert Deniro as a panic-stricken mobster is pretty funny to watch. He's a superb actor, but i can't say much for his bawling scenes. Billy Crystal fit his role well as the psychiatrist who is forced to help DeNiro with his problems. Lisa Kudrow is pretty funny as Crystal's "understanding" fiance. Anyway, the comical dialogue of this movie is incredible. The movie is very constant with it's hilarious humor. It will definitely keep you laughing.

I have to say that this is probably the best movie i have seen all year long, and i watch about 2 new movies per week or so and trust me this movie is worth watching at least twice, i loved it and so did the people that were with me and the people i didnt know were all enjoying it, i really suggest u guys go watch it as soon as possible, u wont regret! thanks!

Enjoyed this movie. Great combination of actors. Never seen DeNiro play this kind of role, or should I say never seen him act the way that he did. Crystal excellent. Too much swearing (But, I guess you have to expect this from a ganster mover?) Waiting to see it again on video.
