A corny copy cat. It copied Top Gun, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, I Robot, The Matrix, and many more. For a movie based in the 30's it had futuristic stuff (which made no sense) One funny part, pretty sleezy directing, a camera (photo taking one) that can zoom in and out (in the 30's? ), the film expolded and it still had 2 shots left (some how), it was OK in special effects, (you could tell it was the 30's because the lady used a type writer for the press, & in the movie theatre she watched THE WIZARD OF OZ) The ending was a little dissapointing, and the commercial has NOTHING to do with the real film. I was expecting crap, butit was my friends' birthday party. Much better than I thought it was gonna be, but it still wasn't very good. If you've seen all of those copys, you've seen sky captain. One sorta scary part. Still very corny.
