Amazing movie. Great acting and great actors. The graphics were surprisingly very realistic. Jack Black does not loose his humor in this one which I love.

I thought the way they made king kong was great, they made an excellent movie and an excellent remake, it may be 3 hours but its non stop actions and thrills from start to finish.

Throw away revamp, whats the point. Good cinematography, thats about it. Jack Black? Come on. Put him back in stuff like school of rock. A new try at an old premise, technology probably saves this one, the story, the acting, the whole deal was a stinker. Dont bother. Watch the one with Jeff Bridges, you'll see pretty much the same thing.

This is a great movie. There was lots of action. A great story line but this movie was way too long. 3 hours. That's a pretty long time just sitting in your seats but overall it was good.

At first going to see this movie, I was not thrilled. My boyfriend at the time wanted to see it and so did my friends. SO I tagged along. Well am I ever glad I did. I was so into this movie the tim just flew right on by. I would recommend this movie to all. I own a copy and bought a copy for my mom. Thats how much I liked the movie.

My 5 out of 6 is for Naomi Watts' performance (she is sooo lovely) and the other 1 is for King Kong itself (or should I say himself? ) Otherwise, an exercise in wasteful special effects and unrealized depth. What was the chase scenes by various creatures in the jungle for? Laughs? Apparently Peter Jackson had too much money to waste.

The BEST movie ever made, by non other than the BEST directer Peter Jackson. The CGI in the movie was spictacular, and the story line was just as good. Bassed in the depression it showed the realistic way the people would have reacted to the "kong". Jack Black did exeptionaly well concerning that he is more of a musicision and comedian kind of person.

Peter Jackson à son meilleur. Les effets spéciaux sont foudroyants. Les scènes de combat de King Kong sont parfaite. À voir si vous aimez les effets spéciaux. Meilleur film pour les effets spéciaux. Il y a de très belle scène. Celui-ci et War of the World sont mes préférés pour les effets spéciaux. De très beaux paysages.

It was a bit long, the little love story between the big 60 foot ape and Naomi Watts was stupid but the ape fighting the dinosaurs was very smart indeed.

King Kong!! Grrr... I really enjoyed that movie. So far, better for the special effect than the other King Kong before but, the action start a little bit to slow I think. After it started, it was really nice to watch. It is not the best movie than ever but it still a movie that we should not miss it. That's the reason why I give a 8 on 10.

The first hour of the movie... was the most boring thing I've seen in my life. The scenes with the dinosaurs and the bugs were great, but that's the only positive thing I can say about it. So disappointing... just anothe bad remake... the people in hollywood are really running out of ideas.

Yes we saw Kingkong me and my husband when it first came out. It was 3 hours long, the movie, but didnt feel like that at all. It was exciting from beginning to the end. Really worth to see. We even buy the DVD afterward. Very recommendable...

Not a good movie for kids. I watch scary movies often- this was a pukey movie even for my 40 year old mother. We left the movie feeling like we were going to puke but we avoided speaking about it from then on. We are mot aloud to speak of the movie- my mom gets upset if we do. Oh well, I'll see way better movies soon.

The plotline was great, the action was awesome, nonstop, keeps you on the edge of your seat. Its got something for everyone, no matter what genre you like, the only flaw was the poor ending.

A fantastic thriller! Totally believable. While the story is well known I found myself expectant of every scene. Some scenes were outright frightening. The scenes on the boat on the way to skull island were an interesting experience. The characters in the movie were interesting and colourful. The climax was one for the ages!

This is an absolutely breath taking movie! If you havent seen it yet I highly advise that is the VERY next thing you do! Throughout this movie I cried, laughed, was scared, concerned, in awe, every possibe emotion was displayed throughout the duration of this film, a deff. MUST SEE movie!

One of the best films I have ever seen in a long time. When people go to the movies nowadays, it seem like all they want to get out of it is something good something interesting, and they want it quick, right away, or else this movie is just way too long. I think that's [...]. Patience is like one of the main things needed in films, and I don't get the whole thing about how people complain about movies being 2 hours, 3 hours long. YOUR WATCHING A MOVIE! THIS ISN'T A LITTLE DANCE SHOW! Most good movies are up to 2-4 hours long.

This movie was great but it was kind of the same throughout. I really liked it though. It was so sad when King Kong died at the end and I even cried a little. It sure isn't a waste of money.

It was good for parts of it, but some parts were WAY too long! At the end I just wanted it to be done... 3h15 minutes that could have been cut into 2h30 for sure. In overall, it is a good and it's worth seeing in a theater but you will feel that sometimes it could have been shorter at some point.
