An impressive production on many levels- direction, cinematography, art direction all first rate and in keeping with the comic book motif. Story creates the typical comic book conflict of good vs evil, yet the story manages to be compelling without being trite. Action sequences are off the wall especially those with the batmobile. Best superhero picture in a long time.
